Familiarity: I've used it several times

First don't be fooled because they feel way tight out of box. After a the liner molds (few days) they are much more roomy than you’d expect. They are also CRAZY stiff on day 1... which was not my fav. But after 6 days now the shells are creasing and have some flex to them which I am learning to like. The lace guides are already showing some tearing at the seams from the stress... I am worried if they will last. I have skinny ankles and heels so the heel lift in these is extreme. I am going to have to add a special foot bed to fill the volume, since they are too stiff to simply tighten down more. These boots are not for everyone.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Would not stay on my size 11 snowboard boots. I know snowboard boots are not really designed for crampon use but the toe strap on these was just too narrow to wrap around the tip of a snowboard boot. Tried on Petzls and Grivels as well and this one seems to have the most potential (others were not as long) but kept sliding off no matter how tight. My buddy rented black diamond strap on crampons that look like an older model or something but the toe strap was much wider and thus wrapped around his snowboard boot better and had no problems. Maybe I can find some of those somewhere...

For a portable table this is very sturdy. Not as much wobble as the Coleman I once tried. I've used it everyday as my work desk and has held up well for a few months. The aluminum slats start to sag over time creating a slightly less flat surface but it is minor. Powder coating wears off a bit but not critical. Spendy but worth it. Currently they have the dimensions posted wrong on the website it is not 45 inches tall.
