Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 190 lbs
Size Purchased: 47.0

I would like to add my two cents on the sizing of this shoe. I will update with quality later. I wear a size 13 shoe typically, and after reading some of the reviews I was afraid a 47.0 in the Bushido would be too small. Not the case. I agree with the other reviews that mention narrow feet. The 47.0 fits my narrow foot like a glove. No slipping whatsoever. I'm looking forward to putting these suckers on the ground.

Update:
After putting some miles on this shoe 5 stars is still the way to go. I have backpacked, scrambled, hiked, and taken it on plenty of runs (trail and city). My feet always stay comfortable. The traction is great. The tread is noticeably wearing down, but considering the terrain I've taken the shoes on, they are still holding up well. I will definitely be picking up another pair. I attempted to switch the stock insoles with Superfeet, and ended up going back to the stock insoles. They are more comfortable in my opinion.

I needed a nice softshell for winter casual wear. I am glad I chose this item. Great fit, great look, super comfortable, and very warm. Have not tried it as a base layer yet but I could see no reason why it would not work well. Construction seems very durable.

These pants are very comfortable! The built in friction belt is ok, but I have never worn a friction belt that did not come loose over time. I have been up a few 14er's now in cool windy weather and with just one light base layer warmth has not been a problem. They seem to hold up well against rock abrasion. Time will be the true test. I would recommend them for a good summer/fall hiking pant.

Mounted a new telemark setup on these skis for this year; I am nothing but impressed. They handle groomers with ease, smash through crud, they are pretty nimble when it comes to linking a bunch of tiny turns, and float nicely.
The only trouble I have had is on steep icy moguls. I have trouble making quick shorts turns. Part of that is not having telemarked in a while.
