Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 160 lbs
Size Purchased: XL

I really wanted to like this raincoat but als it was just cut too small to be comfortable. Nice long sleeves, roomy shoulders but the snugged in waistline, while fitting and looking slender, left no room for any insulation. I put it on over a lightweight sweater and nanopuff vest and it was too tight across the middle and I looked like a stuffed sausage. Sending it back. I have a short version of this coat and it is great with plenty of room for layers. Just wanted a longer version.☹️

I bought these as x-country ski pants but they would also work well as spring skiing alpine as well and hiking. The material is fairly lightweight. Well designed, flattering if a bit on the long side ( I am 5'8"). True to size otherwise. A little low waisted for me but I'm keeping them, I'll just compensate with my wooly underwear that actually goes to my waist. Belt loops are always appreciated even if I don't use them all the time. These pants can also go to town without looking like you are still in your ski clothes.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs large

Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: 8.5

After trying on several boots with mixed results I finally got these on. First off they run large, st least on me. I have low volume, narrow feet and one is 1/2 size smaller. Typically have to get a 1/2 size larger but in this boot I went down a 1/2 size. The boot is cut long so I didn't get any toe jam either which also be a problem. The insole that comes with it is worthless so anticipate getting some super feet. I haven't done any real hiking yet but just walking around they seem to be pretty good with no hotspots so far. I'll report back after a day hike later.
Another thing which I really like which has nothing to do with fit or performance is that they have absolutely no pink on them anywhere. Every other boot I tried on had some range of the color pink on it. Please, I don't need to wear pink hiking boots to let everyone know I'm a girl. Let's get over the pink crap on women's outdoor gear please.

Just took these out for a hike today. Awesome, comfortable and warm. High 30's clear with a slight wind. The best thing about them was I didn't wear any other layers underneath. So nice! I really am not a fan of wearing long johns. They are too confining like wearing pantyhose under your pants. These kept me warm without bulk and are not too tight. I would prefer a higher waist and a narrower lower pant leg but hey these were fine. Got them on sale too.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought this pack in Italy because I really liked the suspension system which is not typically found in a day pack. I had it packed with water, travel gear, down jacket plus attached 2 heavy bags of duty free debris and it was a breeze of a carry. Typically my day pack weighs down and puts a lot of pressure on my shoulders. This hardly put any pressure there at all. I like the larger main compartment with the top pocket for smaller items so they don't disappear in the bottom. The integrated rain cover is handy although I haven't used it yet.
Trekking/ski pole holders and compression straps that can double as ski holders in a pinch give the pack great user versatility. I liked the stretchy water bottle pocket better than the usual mesh style even though you can also use a bladder system as well. My first experience with the Jack Wolfskin product but I find it very well designed and constructed.

Just returned from a BVI sailing trip where I was able to pack all of my gear (snorkel and mask inc.) in this efficient roller bag. Just the right amount of compartments. This bag along with my purse/tote was all I needed for 10 days of Carribean bliss.
