This is a rather thick paracord with a loose sheath around the inner strands. This results in a huge tangled mess as the multiple layers twist within themselves every time you go to use it. Even opening it from the package creates an impossible mess. I bought it to use for hanging a bear bag while backpacking, but don’t foresee this working out. Made in China
