I have an old 2013? Pair of swash that are heavier and have mesh on the outside leg vents, the new swash are much lighter and the outside leg vents open right up with no mesh to dumb heat on the skin up. Great for hiking inbounds.
I am 6’3” 210-225 XL fit well

This board makes such a difference. I demoed it in 2013 then bought the 2014 and it keeps getting better. I have only ridden it 10-15 days due to the thin early season snow we had in SLC. I rode a NS Legacy prior to this board and this board is worlds better. It pushes through skier bumps, kill moguls and jumps up on powder. I would say I am an average rider and this board makes me above average. Does equally well on groomed runs, skied out bowls and powder in the trees.
Never Summer boards are tough and take a beating. I am 6' 2" 230 pounds and don't think twice about rolling over a downed tree. I have heard some hits that make me wince with a new board and the base shows nothing. There is nothing better than checking the base and coming away with a smile.
The carbonium top sheet allows you to be lazy as you don't even worry about your foot coming off the lift. I have never put a stomp pad on any of my boards, but imagine this is what one is like, on the whole board.
I do have the X, but am sure there is no difference.

This belt looks good and if that is all you want purchase it. However, if you are looking for a belt that serves the purposes of keeping your pants up don't buy this belt. I note that I have only used it a few time and that is b/c the buckle does not dig into the webbing and IMO makes it useless. Burton gear is usually much better.
