Grant's Bio

From Logan, Utah. If it's outside, I'm there. I shred with ride boards, atomic skis, and trek bikes. I chose those brands for me but everything is unique to each person.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There are a handful of options out there for a quality trainer block. I chose this one because I wanted to choose from multiple heights for a more realistic feel. This offers a few options.

I generally ride all summer then go ride the exercise bike in the winter at the gym. I was tired of crappy equipment and always having to go to the gym, so I bit the bullet and bought this trainer. It is incredible. It is so smooth and precise. I feel like I'm on the actual road or mountain. Plus this has blue tooth so I can connect to apps. Honestly, I wouldn't take any other trainer, included the higher priced items.

I bought this so I could stay toasty and not fall off my pad. I slept like a baby. The downside is that big agnes hasn't fully figure out their system bags. Where the bag connects to the pad allows cold air in through that tiny space. Though I was warm I did wake up a few times to the breeze. Not a big deal, but for $400 I shouldn't have that. Quality bag none the less.

I got these because my hands kept hurting from my last zero pad grips. I don't feel any disconnect from my bike and my hands don't hurt anymore. Super easy to get on as well.

I bought this pack because I love the talon! I have the 22 liter and now the 33. I use the 22 for 2-3 day bikepacking and wanted the 33 for longer bike and hike trips. I'll be using this for multiple week long trips next year. It's so lightweight that you barely feel it on your back and is crazy comfortable.

I have just used running shoes for hiking for years because I need support for my flat feet and like the feel of a shoe over a boot. Thought I'd give these a try.
Performed better than I thought. Still had support, the stiffness of the soul (and sole) is nice. My only hope is they don't stop making it so I can always use it.

Pair this shoe with a pair of platform pedals and you'll stick like gum to the bottom of your shoe. I bought these over the free rider shoes because I needed more arch support. I bikepack a lot and these are very comfortable hiking. Plus they look good for everyday use. Get a half to a full size larger. I wear 9.5's usually and bought 10's.

Warm? If by warm you mean wanting to walk through an arctic tundra, prancing as if it was summer in the cool grass then yes, yes it is. I wore a short sleeve shirt and this coat and was warm well into the teens. Do you love the outdoors? How could you... You don't have this jacket yet.

I bought this coat wanting to go anywhere anytime and never worry about the cold. It did just that. Also, go a size smaller or it'll look like your wrapped in the drapes hanging from your ceiling.
