Familiarity: I've used it several times

I test rode this bike for a period of three days. The bike really shines when you point it uphill but it also crushed in some crit like simulations. The di2 and all black bike was top of the line in my book. While I am a laggard when it comes to disc brakes on road bikes, I was surprised at how much I liked them. This is the trend for road bikes these days so I am on board now, especially after test riding them on the R5. Overall, this is a fast bike meant for a rider who appreciates a rocket ship of a bike.

I bought this as a gift for my partner and she can't stop wearing this! She loves the style which pairs well with a Sumer hat and sandals. She packed this jumper for a Caribbean vacation and loved the versatility of it for the beach and for going out to dinner. It is soft and comfy. The pockets are great, and the style is very cute and flattering.

I bought this as a gift for my partner. These are incredibly comfortable and supportive shoes. She walks miles in them and they are still so comfortable. She does not get blisters from these shoes, though they do require a bit of breaking in. The style is cute and very versatile and the straps are adjustable. These shoes are very durable and last a long time. Totally worth the price.

These were a gift for my girlfriend. She says these are comfy and cute shorts for travel, lounging, or hiking. These have a great zip pocket in the back and a liner short underneath. They are super soft and the perfect length. They run large to size.

My girlfriend received this as a gift and think this sports bra is fantastic! It is easy to take on and off, provides moderate support, and is incredibly comfortable. She likes the style and the color is great. She will probably buy this in other colors because she likes it so much!

This is a fantastic all around backpack for hikes. Great pockets, sturdy zippers, fits well for a woman's build. The backpack is designed and engineered with outdoor users in mind. If you haven't made the switch to a hiking backpack for your excursions, give this one a go.

I bought this as a gift for my sister for her trip out West. This is a great shoe for hikes where a large amount of ankle support isn't needed but you still want a sturdy shoe with traction. The waterproof nature of it keeps feet dry for small stream crossings and the traction on the sole helps jumping from rock to rock with confidence.

I love these trigger point balls. I use them for muscle releases of hard to reach knots in my quads/hip flexors and glute med. As a endurance athlete overuse injuries are just around the corner unless I take care of my body. That starts with proper biomechanics and foam rolling in addition to trigger point release keep me going without screwing up my stride. Just to be transparent, my dog ate part of the ball and now I need another!

I have really sweaty feet and rainbow sandals and birkenstocks just don't cut it. They get gross and slimy and the leather absorbs the moisture. These Chaco Play Pro Web Flip Flop's fix that. The rubber keeps them odor free, easy to clean, and they don't absorb sweat. These look good and are ready for adventure.

I threw these pedals on my urban bike I commute on and ride to the bar. They are great so far and the color choices spice up my life. They also don't have metal pins but are still grippy so my feet don't slip and I don't bang up my shins.

These boots have completely changed my backcountry skiing experience. With how light they are and with they're wide range of motion, the uphill experience is so much more casual and comfortable. They're like wearing a pair of socks.

For sizing, going small really worked well for me. I went a full size smaller than than my previous Scarpa Freedoms and it's worked out great.

On the downhill the boots actually stiffen quite well. Certainly not a dedicated downhill boot and feel a little short against the anterior shin but definitely still ski-able. I've toyed around with the insert that goes in the rear of the boot and think this will eventually make the skiing more 'boot-forward' but as of yet they've only proven to constrict my foot too much. Looking forward to messing with the BOA and buckle settings more to find the perfect fit for downhill skiing.

Overall, a great, super-lightweight boot that excels on the uphill and certainly passable on the downhill. So stoked.

Fit: True to size

Everyone knows white = speed when it comes to road cycling shoes. The Gaerne Carbon G Chrono shoe is no different.

While aesthetics are a small (okay big) part of road cycling, for me, if it doesn't perform, I don't want it. On a scale of 1-12, Gaerne ranks these shoes a 12 in terms of stiffness on the sole. This equates to incredible power transfer while remaining comfortable hour after hour on the bike.

Color and stiffness play a big part in my shoe selection but I think most important is the fit and how dialed I can get the shoe. These bad boys are next level when it comes to dialing in the fit to the contour of my feet. The boa system evenly distributes pressure keeping hot spots away. What you get is a precise fitting shoe that is easily tuned. Ready for the sprint? Crank that boa system down. Feeling like your feet are hot and swelling? Ease up the tension. The micro adjustment of the boa system puts ratchet systems in the past and velcro in the history archives. Combined with the stiff sole, these shoes are a complete success for me.

The Gaerne Carbon G Chrono shoe breathes well and dirt and smudges rub off leaving the pristine white look for miles to come. The fit (toe box included) is true to size and isn't narrow but isn't wide. The boa system ties the shoe together, figuratively and literally.

A 2-hour ride can have 10,000 revolutions of the pedals, it's a no brainer that a top-level road shoe is a ticket to better performance, comfort and efficiency. So what are you waiting for? Give the Gaerne Carbon G Chrono shoe a try! I'm glad I did.
