This sweatshirt is one of my comfiest articles of clothing. The material is very soft. The fit is loose and boxy but I prefer this (slightly large fit). The sleeves are slightly long and wide on my thin wrists. The neck is unique, and perhaps a little wide as well. I've been wearing this very often.

This is my first merino wool baselayer so I don't have anything to compare it to. I got the Winter White Donegal color and I like it, and it is not see through. I ordered a medium so that it wouldn't be too snug on my torso, and I am happy with that aspect of the fit (not too tight, not too loose). The shirt is very, very long however. When I pull it down to its full length, it goes to the bottom of my butt. So, I wear it tucked in as a base layer but can't really wear it as a normal shirt as I had hoped I could. I wore the shirt this weekend for an outdoor ultimate frisbee tournament (layered under a heavy sweatshirt and a down coat) and was fairly comfortable (occasionally chilly) in mid 30 degree weather with 15 mph wind.

I've owned merino wool Smartwool socks and figured I'd give these a try. I've heard good things about Darn Tough, so I am surprised that these do not keep my feet warm! I'm indoors right now with these on and my feet are cold! My Smartwool socks are a bit thicker and my feet are never cold with them on. Too bad these are a bit thinner. They look nice, but don't serve the purpose I bought them for.
