Based on other reviews, I thought the girls' XL would be good for my tiny, petite adult daughter. Although it just fit once it was on, it was not roomy enough to put it on or take off easily. Also, the sleeves just hit her wrists - looked slightly awkward. I would recommend, if you can afford the $20 difference, go for the adult size if it is really meant for an adult. I replaced this with the adult small and it's perfect!
