Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is an ideal setup for the aggressive skier who is a 50/50 resort/backcountry rider. Nice even flex pattern and at 130, plenty stiff to handle all that you throw at it. I was pleasantly surprised by how relatively light they are. They don't have the biggest range of motion with ankle articulation, but when you get to the top of the skin track, you have full confidence to send.

I picked this up for my go to everyday fly fishing pack which it is perfect for. Low profile, plenty of pockets and room for all my gear and snacks. However, my wife has begun using it while hiking with our dog on the weekends. Great all around product.

If you are a hard charging resort skier who likes durable products and bindings with excellent power transfer, these are for you. As a larger skier (210lbs) the14 DIN also gives me peace of mind when rallying hard inbounds.

I picked these up a week ago and am planning on using them for opening day at Solitude tomorrow. I'm 6'1'' 201 and the XL fit me perfectly. Planning on skiing 50/50 resort/backcountry, so will report back on the breathability/waterproof quality.

The down sweater is a perfect piece to wear around town or layer under your shell for extra cold ski days. Also great on a ski tour due to its lightweight and packable nature. This jacket comes with the high quality you would expect from Patagonia. It is a true workhorse of my wardrobe.

We have been loyal See Kai Run customers from our son's first pair of shoes. These boots were appealing because of the velcro cuff which makes putting them on a breeze. Additionally See Kai run shoes are accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association, so you know the little ones are getting proper support and fit.

We've already had a couple chances to test out this snowsuit with the little guy. He is uber comfy and warm in it, and it is super easy putting on/off. A nice feature is the extendable cuffs which will help keep him in this gear after the next growth spurt.

I was stoked to test these pants out and really wanted them to work, but the inseam was just a bit long. I am 6'1'' 210 and picked up the XL. The fit worked everywhere except the length.

I just picked up my second pair of these shoes and couldn't be happier. Classy yet casual, these can be worn anywhere in Fall, Winter, or Spring. They also feel like slippers right out of the box. My first pair lasted a solid 3 years in regular rotation.

As an admitted weekend warrior on my road bike in the warm months, I have long been guilty of looking like a beater out there. This will no longer be the case now that I picked up a pair of these bad boys. Not only am I looking stylish, but I am feeling super comfy in the saddle. I'm 6'1'' 210 and picked up a L. Fit is true to size.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I picked up a pair of these for my brother who is traditionally a resort skier, but looking to venture out into the Vermont backcountry a bit. This is a great set up for someone who plans to shred the resort and do a bit of touring on the side. It also works if you just want the security and feel of an alpine binding and have really strong legs like my bro.

Just picked up this piece for the upcoming season and it is exactly what I am looking for. I am a 50/50 resort/backcountry skier and was looking for a waterproof shell that was highly breathable and also packable for when I am on the skin track. The Descensionist fits both bills. I am 6'1'' 210 and the L is a perfect fit even with all my layers on underneath.

I recently took an 8 day van camping trip through Yellowstone with this cooler as a loaner. After having a week plus to test this beast, I had to pick up a couple for myself. My block ice lasted the full trip, and my produce stayed as fresh as if were in a Sub Zero. Well worth the premium price.
