Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Strapped this thing on my helmet and works great! Purchased it with my Night Rider lamp and being helmet mounted is so much better than a handlebar mount. I ride tons at night and this allows me to put light exactly where I turn my head!
After several seasons of use, the plastic latch is beginning to wear, but I will definitely purchase it again!
Absolutely love it!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

To begin, I like good gear and I take care of it. I have an older model that only gets light use as a secondary light-trip pack. The hip belt has been severely freying and stitching separating as a result of normal use. (I have been baybying it along) It was suggested to contact TNF for warranty repair, however, I have had bad experiences with their "lifetime" warranty in the past. Basically, they blame you for the damage and push their product. Not TNF of the past. I plan to take my pack to a shoe-maker who has repaired things for me in the past. A few dollar fix is better than arguing or buying a newer model of even lower quality. I used to be a total TNF fan, but will shop other brands from now on....beware.

I have one of these on my helmet and I love it!!
I ride tons at night (I love the darkness & tranquility)
And this little guy provides huge amount of light to be seen on the back roads and for exploring the off road trails. I usually use the low setting and only dial it up on the wooded trails when needed. Seems to hold a charge a long time too. When not needed I unclip it from it's mount and stash it in my bike pack.
I love it and would buy again

These bags are the best. I have the super huge one from years ago that's still going strong, and I wanted a smaller waterproof bag to compliment my panniers for bikepacking. This fits the bill. It straps right on top of my rack over my other not-so-waterproof packs and gives me a guaranteed dry place for important gear.

Sweeeet bag.
I've had mine for years and love it. Took it on a 2 week trip to the ocean and it handled all my swimming/ paddeling/ snorkeling gear perfectly. I had my backpack for clothing/ camping gear.
When not trekking, I use it to store my tents and snowshoes safety out of harms way.
I recently ordered a smaller version to use as an addition to my panniers for bike-packing.
They are very pricey but worth it.

Reasonable price, good fit. What more could you ask for?
I have a different brand of shorts for a similar cost from my local cycle shop but while they fit fine the padding seems to be too much in the front and no draw strings, so I grabbed a couple pair of these for comparison and these are now my favorite. Fit great, padding feels better under my sit bones and I believe ALL cycle shorts/tights should have draw strings! Now that I have my fit dialed in, I'll definitely be back for more Garneau gear!

Fit: True to size
Size Purchased: XXL

Just received and a little disappointed in the amount of down. I like the style and the larger logo but compared to my old Nuptse gear TNF seems to have "cheaped out" by using less down in the new gear.
It's a shame, I used to really love TNF. I don't know why their quality seems to be going down while prices keep going up.

Decent tights for the cost. Got XL because not sure of fit but they work out pretty well, snug in the right places yet comfortable. Like the draw string to keep them in place. Fairly warm but not hot although I pushed them on a ride in the upper teens. Only gripe is that I think the padding could be a bit thicker.

I got this suit to extend my kayak and rafting season. The price was reasonable, I cannot afford $1k + suits and it does an awesome job keeping me warm and of course dry with proper layering. I got a size to allow for a puffy inside. My biggest beef is the zipper. It needs some sort of protective cover on the inside as it always catches on whatever is my inside layer. It happens at the top where I cannot easily undo the snag and I usually end up temporarily stuck in my suit. Today I ended up with a huge tear in one of my favorite pullovers while struggling my way out. Really ticked me off. I'm only glad it wasn't my expensive puffy. I am trying to figure out how to solve the problem to keep this from happening again without ruining my suit.
In the mean time it is really awesome to be able to go swimming when their is snow on the ground and I plan to paddle straight through the winter if time allows.
