I got these shoes in spring and I'v climbed in them all summer. Everywhere from Indian Creek, Yosemite, Boulder, Zion, ect.. you name it this shoe will stick to it. Very comfortable and sticky but still edge so well. I found myself putting these on for everything! Easy, hard, long, or short climbs these are the shoes you want!
A few new C4s for the summer of climbing.
New speed 55 from BD. Best pack iv ever used.
I got the XP earlier this year after dropping my old ATC off a ledge half way of Devils Tower. I had the standard ATC before and I like this one better due to the two options. The high friction side is great to belay with or when on a tricky rap and being able to turn it around and have normal friction again is great. An excellent ATC, very happy with the performance and design.
Light, strong, easy action, Everything you want in a screw gate. I used one on my belay device for years until I finally wore a grove to deep for my liking. Great little biner, I would recommend.
These are my go to cam for everything. Super strong, place well, clean well, durable, all around great piece. The only down side of these would be they're not the lightest cam on the market and they can seem a bit bulky at times. All said and done, I would recommend these cams to anyone looking to start a trad rack or improve on an existing one.
This was my very first line back in 2011 and it was a great line to start and learn on. Very simple to set walks well. If you're looking to get into trick-lining I would say go with one of the other gibbons like the surf or jib. Or if you want to get into longer lines or fun likes to just walk and do some static tricks, go with a 1" line. I still use this line a lot, its fantastic to learn and work on static tricks. A great line for a family.
I'v had a set of these draws for about 2 years now and I am very pleased with how they've worked. Very strong and easy to clip, I like them for both sport and trad. The only disadvantages of these draws are the weight and bulkiness. Over all I really like these draws.
I'v been using these draws or an earlier version on all my sport climbs for the past 2 years and I couldn't ask for a better draw. They are very easy and quick to clip, and are nice and lightweight. Super strong, durable and easy to clean. If you are in the market for quick draws, defiantly get these.
This case is great for anyone who uses and abuses their phone! Having your phone be waterproof is a huge advantage when out doing just about anything! I'v dropped my phone a few times (all while in the case) and when I take it out of the case it still looks brand-new! If you have an iPhone, get this case.
I'v had this hat for over three years now, its getting pretty faded and stained but i still love this thing! I'v worn for everything from climbing Half Dome in Yosemite to snowboarding in North Carolina. Super comfy.
I love this jacket! supper warm and soft. Very comfortable and a lot more sturdy then I thought it would be. Its a great jacket for everything from formal events, to climbing in the backcountry.
Getting warm after climbing all night in NC
Blasting up the second flatiron in Boulder CO.
I'v had a pair of pythons for about a year and a half now and they are go to for anything super hard and overhung! they fit nice and snug still even after use and abuse. A great shoe for hard sport or bouldering. It stretched very little so fit accordingly.
I got a pair of Moccs for my all day/bigwall/hand crack shoes. I sized them pretty big and because of that its hard to stay on small stuff (but thats not what i sized them for!) As far as cracks and friction slab go, this shoe is tops! supper sticky rubber and so comfortable i can wear them all day long! Great on all types of rock.
When I'm looking at a chossy pitch i'm glad I can pull this guy out. It's hard shell and suspension makes it very comfortable to wear and keeps it in place very well when you happen to knock your head on the wall. The visor helps keep a little bit of sun off, but not much. Headlamps stay it place.
And hey, for a helmet it looks pretty cool which is always a plus!
This rope is a great! Durable, but still very pliable. Strong but still light enough to use on harder projects. I have the 70M and its great for long multis/bigwall. I'v climbed on a lot of different rope brands and sterling is by far my favorite! Worth the money.
I got this to patch up a training shoe that had a blown out toe. It did the job I was looking for it to do; stop the deterioration of the inner sole and give the use of the toe back. I wouldn't use it on my redpoint shoes, but it save you from having to buy a new (or used) pair of shoes (or getting a resole) if the shoe still has a lot of good rubber still. It wears out pretty fast though so you'll need to apply a new layer every so often.
