Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 195 lbs
Size Purchased: XL

Good looking jersey, and well fitting through the mid-section and across the shoulders. Very tight arms, though. My arms are probably bigger than the typical cyclist's physique--in other words, normal--so was a little disappointed that I had to really hike them up just to get them to the proper spot on my arms.

The tight arms/good mid-section fit was also a little weird given the other POC jersey I bought (Essential Road Logo Jersey) was perfect in the arms and across the shoulders, but pretty baggy through the mid-section, as if cut for someone a bit portly.

I'll keep the jersey, but remain skeptical of POC given the inconsistency of cut across jerseys of the same size.

Great looking jersey, but I think the sizing is a little strange, and not consistent with other POC jerseys of the same size.

Positive: Material feels good, and quality. Wicks moisture well. Three very large pockets across the back, as well as a small zippered pocket, which is quite handy.

Negative: I'm 6'4 and 195lbs, so tall and lanky. I tend to buy extra large just to get the size up and down, and across the shoulders. In this case, the XL jersey seems cut for someone of my height, but who is a rounder through the mid-section. The arms fit very well--I have thicker arms, and the sleeves fit snugly, but not too tightly. The rest of the jersey was a bit loose, and bunched through the mid-section. Not too obnoxious, but just not what I would ordinarily expect from cycling jersey. Additionally, when fully zipped, the collar is a little loose. Not a big deal, but at 30mph downhill, it definitely flapped quite a bit.

This is all made more strange because the other POC jersey I bought (AVIP jersey) in the same size, fits very well/snugly through the mid-section, but the arms are very tight...I have to pull them up to get them to fit properly. (Separate review pending.)

Overall, I like the look of the jersey, and will probably keep it. But the lack of consistency in the sizing makes me a little reluctant to buy additional POC gear, tbh.

Took these shorts out on their inaugural ride today, and came away with mixed impressions.

Positive: Feels like quality material, and I would give the chamois very high marks. Very comfortable, and while I was only out for about 2 hours, I could tell the chamois would go the distance on a much longer ride. Contrary to some other reviews, no problems yet with the logos. Good looking shorts, too, I think.

Negative: Three issues here.

1) I actually really like the grippers on the shorts (again, contrary to some other reviews), but two issues with them. First, they are short...ie, only about an inch wide, so the total gripping surface area is less than what you might find on other shorts. I don't think this would be a real problem except for the fact that, second, I think the shorts were designed for people with bigger quads than I'm currently sporting. I'm 6'4" and 195lbs...so a bit lanky. My quads aren't getting it done here, and the shorts did ride up a bit as a result.

2) The shorts are a bit loose in that they are not extremely tight. See above...without great leg gripping, and not particularly tight through the hips, they do tend to ride up and bunch a bit. Not too distracting, just not ideal.

3) The bibs, overall, are a bit short from top to bottom (for me). Again, I'm fairly tall, so even with an XL, it did not come as a huge surprise that the shoulder straps tended to dig into my shoulders a bit.

So, overall, not too bad. I like the look, and this is not the first time I've had difficulty finding clothing (cycling or otherwise) that is a perfect fit. I'd say buy these if you are more of an average sized person with bigger quads, and you'll be all set.
