Perfect 3-season pants, great fit. Main issue is the dumb snap button on the waist is too weak and I pop it even though they fit beautifully. Also the Vecro on the rear seat pockets is obnoxiously loud, anything would have been better (like a zipper on the left would be great).

The online description doesn't detail the cuffs but I took a chance based on favorable impressions with other Spyder gear. The jacket is otherwise superb - great cut, colors, fit true to size, nice pockets, light but significant insulation, able to layer an Arcteryx Atom (some arm/shoulder bunching but a light fleece or sweater no problem). The downfall is the cuff design.... There is a short elastic trim cuff inside the hemmed insulated exterior. This will work with a light knit glove or spring skiing glove but not any sort of ski glove short of a full gauntlet style that's large enough to go over the fat cuff. The inner cuff is not elastic enough to get over any sort of winter glove or even a knit wrist (like on my Kincos). Kind of bizarre because you're left with scrunching up the insulated sleeves into a bulky dorkfest.

The sad thing is that this lame cuff situation is not confined to this jacket or brand but to a lot of softshells I've tried. I will just keep going with my bunched up Patagonia Adze, another perfect jacket except for dumb cuffs.
