Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You know that vegan climbing friend you have who braids his armpit hair and sleeps on empty granola boxes he scavenged from behind a Big Lots?

This smells way better than that. It's good at keeping your hands from aching while you're off the wall and doesn't seem to affect the calluses. My only complaint is that it is a little "greasy" but in the way that it just takes some time to soak into your hands so you'll inevitably cover something in a thin coat of it whether that's a remote or a water bottle or something.

Get a small bottle and give it a try!

On the fifth day climbing jesus was resurrected wearing these pants and was ready to ascend every pitch that these heathens dare claim un-climbable. The comfort this garment provides often leads me into situation where I am no longer wearing underwear and simply going commando. The cinch cuff is great if you wanna show off those ripped calves and look like 80's Kurt Russell in his full glory. I feel like the pants will last quite a long time, which is cool because the material is (as I mentioned before) quite comfy and is still resistant to any tears or scrapes you may encounter on the wall. I also used these pants on the river after I encountered 3rd degree burns from the pain orb after a long day of rowing. They dry pretty well so take that for what it is.

I honestly do think these are one of the only climbing shoes ever not to look like a rabbit skin covered in paint wrapped around someones foot. They actually look kinda fast or something, but I guess that's a good thing.

They're really comfortable once they break in, but you will have 2-3 sessions where it hurts to walk. I recommend getting a half size smaller than your normal size because they do stretch a fair amount. Once they do break in they're the bees knees. No amount of jazz cabbage will be stickier than these bad boys once you get the hang of placing those flanges in some cracks.

Seriously. What the hell? This is like being help up by a divine force while on the wall. There are no pressure points and I honestly don't even notice i'm wearing it. The technology that distributes the force throughout the harness instead of into focused ropes is the technology to thank. I know it looks pricy, but it's worth it in my opinion.

These pants fit great on me, which is rare because I have pretty big thighs. They're great for climbing and most activities you would do outdoors. They dry quick, and the cinch cuff is super nice so you can pull them up to your calf or even your knees if you need to.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Locks easily and is great for one hand operation, I use it in the climbing gym and it has worked flawlessly. I've heard others say that if sand or ice gets in between the locking mechanism that it wont close so it may not be that great outdoors but I haven't personally tested that myself so take it with a grain of salt.
