I typically wear an XL in everything Patagonia, but I am drowning in this jacket. I tried a large, and it was too tight in the shoulders and short in the sleeves, so there is no right size for me in this jacket. It also gets super clammy with mild exertion, which I expected with the white spray on coating. I will try an actual Gore Tex lined jacket next. I am keeping the jacket, as it will be a decent emergency shell to keep in the car and use over a puffy jacket (yes, it's that large).

I have a nightmare time finding shoes that work because I have a high arch, and a wide forefoot. This shoe finally answers booth problems for me. I found these extremely comfortable out of the box, and they have actually held up well to a lot of abuse. The have good arch support and a wider toe box which is a must for me. I would like to use them as a trail runner, but they are a little too stiff for that. I also bought the GTX version as well, as these shoes will soak up water and get a little soggy. That's my only "complaint". Otherwise, I will be buying extra pairs of this shoe before they get discontinued, and I am left searching for another product. I typically wear a size 10.5 in every other style of shoe, but had to size up to an 11 with these.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just purchased a couple different sizes of this bag, after buying and returning EVERY other brand of duffle bag (sorry Backcountry)! These bags are it for me. I will never have to buy another duffle in my lifetime based on how freakin' durable this series of bags are. I love the minimalist design, the fact that they can stand on their own unpacked, and I love the non-shiny, non trash bag look (think Patagucci) of the super durable material. Thankfully, it also has internal compression straps which other duffles lack. The backpack straps are incorporated so well into the design, I almost thought I got a defective pack without them included. Instead, the were tucked in their own stash pocket and barely noticeable. I also love that these bags still come with a shoulder harness as well for multiple carry options.

I just got back from my first trip with my 3 kids, and this bag got spilled on, stepped on and tossed around and my contents stayed clean and dry, and the bag is still pristine.

I am going to buy the largest version of this bag to complete my series, and then forget about ever needing to buy another duffle in my lifetime.......or my kids' lifetime either!

Nice job Osprey!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I bought these because they fit men with an athletic build, not a skinny jean build. The gusset crotch was a bonus. The material is burly and strong, but the pant just has too many issues for the price. As noted below, once you wash these pants (using Kuhl's instructions) they end up with faded, permanent creases/lines. This is exceptionally bad with their dark pigment items. They also steadily shrink over time, and the snap enclosure comes undone consistently when sitting or bending over and needs a re-design. I wanted to love these pants, because they fit so well initially. They will definitely hold up to use and abuse, so long as you don't mind how bad they will look after a few washes, and you don't expect them to fit for more than 6 months.
