Great news - these don't come in the color shown above, but instead they match the BD camalot colors, something I was worried about when I purchased because I'm that kind of person. Great for trad/alpine climbing, super durable product just like all BD climbing gear. Not as easy non-hoodwires for opening a nice warm beer at the end of the route though...

Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 130 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

This jacket is really attractive, got last years version discounted substantially. Super cute, great quality, nice vents, good fit overall but huge downside - sleeves are tight and make it hard to layer underneath. Can comfortably wear a vest and baselayer underneath, but fitting a long sleeve midlayer is impossible if you want any range of motion. I think this jacket will be great as a rain jacket and for hiking in warmer weather, but definitely a weird fit for colder temp layering even if you size up. Don't think I would have kept if I had paid full price.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Very disappointing, fingers are too short in these gloves for my hands. That said, I'm 5'10 and have really long fingers and narrow palms. Wanted to love, but even the size up didn't help. Ended up purchasing the mittens.

Really dig the color/style of this helmet, about as attractive as a mountain bike helmet can be in my opinion. Love the way it adjusts and the fit is perfect. Also, as a woman I was a little concerned about how it would fit but the medium was perfect for me.

Haven't had a chance to use these yet but they are super lightweight and look so fun. Just got them mounted and I can't wait to ride them. I have another pair of Salomon skis that I am obsessed with (Stella 106s) and bought these to replaces 2014 Salomon lumen 100s . Initial impressions are that they are much lighter and springier than both previous pairs.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Had the older version of lowdowns and loved, an arm broke while climbing and Smith very kindly replaced them when I submitted a warranty claim so got the lowdown 2. Lost them trekking through Nepal after a year, so upgraded to the Lowdown slim which fit my face better than the Lowdown2s. Really happy with the chromapop, makes the colors in the Wasatch insanely green and beautiful and pretty great for skiing in too. If you're anything like me I recommend investing in a pair of croakies so you don't go through 3 pairs in 2 years...Best sunnies though.

Super pretty color - bought in beryl green. Pit zips are super nice for hot days on the slopes. I wear mine over an Arcteryx Puffy to ski so I bought a medium and it is perfect for this. I think it will also work as an excellent rain layer for summer hiking. Lightweight, seems durable, good pocket placement., excellent fit.

First pair of goretex bibs and I couldn't be more obsessed. They run a little large so had to go with a size small, but fits perfectly and no pants ever fit perfectly (I'm 5'10). Super waterproof, really cute, love how they zip off into pants if you want them to, love how you can extend the bib, perfect pass pocket, love the full side zips. A+ product in my opinion, intend to wear for the next 10 years assuming they hold up like they seem to.

Just bought a second one...Had my first for 10 years and decided it was time to replace it. Pretty well used...gym climbing, sport climbing, trad climbing and canyoneering. I think it's pretty comfortable and it's held up pretty well over the years. Wish it still came in some brighter colors though :(

Love having the widemouth option - way easier to clean than the narrow ones. I primarily use mine for bringing ice on long summer hikes and pour my other water bottle into it - great for this purpose. Also great for hot beverages (and food)...except that I'm a weirdo who prefers her coffee lukewarm.
