I got these boots to wear for my season as a backcountry ranger in Rocky Mountain NP. If you need a heavy, sturdy hiking/work boot, these are what you're looking for. I've worn them for everything from felling trees to peak bagging and they never disappoint. The leather is resilient and super comfortable after breaking them in. They're great in strap-on crampons and I've done some low fifth class climbing in them too. Mine started to have some damage to the sole towards the end of my season, but that's probably to be expected after you put 500 hundred-ish miles of hiking and then work into a boot. Overall great quality from Zamberlan on this one.

These are pretty great approach shoes from La Sportiva, I've put around a hundred miles in my pair and they perform exactly how you'd expect them, super grippy and pretty decent for edging too. My only complaint is that the soles do wear down surprisingly fast and the rubber rand rand doesn't hold up to abuse especially well; mine are missing several patches of rubber. Otherwise they're a great pair of approach shoes at a good price.

This is my first pair of snowboard boots, and I'm pretty happy with them, though I don't have much to compare them to. I was a little concerned at first as I got them in my street shoe size and my toes were touching a little too much, but they packed out pretty quickly and now fit great! The only downside is that the boa system gets a little lose and the cable loses tension after a few runs, not that the dial releases, it just can't hold tension and has to be screwed back down. Other than that though, I'm pretty happy with them, and at a great price too!

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I always feel good leaving my new cross bike outside the bar, grocery store, coffee shop, you name it. Pretty beefy as far as locks come when i saw it compared to my friends, in combination with a cable lock I have no qualms, and I'm pretty bike-anoid myself. The frame mount went on to my frame no problem as well, I just don't have room in my inner triangle for the lock with bottle cages.

Pretty much you get exactly what you pay for, not the lightest pedal out there, but bombproof and solid. I have them on my cross bike when I want platforms and they've been nothing but good so far. The default pin set up is fairly grippy without even removing the washers on them as well
