Eric Watford's Bio

I am an all around recreationist that prides myself on not focusing too much on any one activity but on many. My love for our natural resources has pushed me to many road trips around our beautiful country and inspired me to move permanently to the amazing state of Utah.

Specializing but not limiting myself to the following:
-setting up a rad camp, out of a car or a backpack
-raging down whitewater rivers
-crushing dirt on a MTB
-sending routes and solving problems on the rock
-setting up your vehicle for an adventure of choice

All in all I have a passion for sleeping outside and doing it comfortably. Whether it be by yourself or with family and friends, it's always better outside. I have experience in many climates and environments each having a different list of necessities. "FOLLOW" ME!

This sweater is the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. I absolutely love the high wrap neck to hold in the warmth and gives a hip style. All of the compliments have come my when when I wear this sweater. Give it as a gift to the boyfriend or husband and he will take you out to dinner to the fanciest of restaurants.

They run a half size large. They are very comfortable and now that I have worn them for a bit they are getting more and more cozy. The craftsmanship is amazing. The sole is really burly and seems really durable.

Best watch I've ever owned. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Both the men's and women's Falken are the same size. They are a little on the big size as far as diameter, but they have a low profile, so they don't look too masculine.

Elegant design and definite high quality. I highly recommend it.

Customer: They look good with everything. I bought a half size down as Wolverine's website suggests and they fit perfectly. Even with a little thicker (mid-weight) wool socks. I wore them right out of the box and walked about two miles. No hot spots. Totally comfortable.

This piece is great but the fit is not what I am looking for. Too slim. Made for the skinny tall guy. You can only have on one layer underneath this for it to be comfortable and they layer needs to be a thin slim layer. The material on the R2 is amazingly comfortable and soft. I am sad it doesn't fit my needs.

I have never owned a pair or Birkenstocks but I loved the style of the Gizeh. I ordered the onyx color and I love them!!! The size is perfect and the width would suit so many feel since you can adjust the buckle. I highly recommend for comfort and style especially they don't flop around like Mose slide in sandals. Thanks Backcountry.

From infant to grandparent you'll wear one of these through every stage of life. I got the the down sweater for my niece, and it's her third since she's growing like a beanstalk. It's high-loft to low-weight ratio allows her to wear it all day without complaining of any bulk. It's far more durable than others we've seen from Mountain Hardware, plus Patagonia will make repairs for free which is crucial for kids clothes, especially ones that will be passed down. For the kids definitely go with the hooded version since it's once less thing to pack and keep them extra toasty when the wind/snow is blowing. Zippered pockets are also nice for treats and hand warmers while on the go.

Good friend review: The Marmot Sawtooth is my third Marmot bag, all Long Left Zip. The bags I am comparing the Sawtooth to are the Lithium (zero degree 850 fill) and Trestles 15 (synthetic). I am 6'3" 180 lbs and believe I sleep mildly warmer than average. I found the sawtooth to be narrower than the other two bags but of the same length. This bag is claiming a comfort rating of 27 degrees fahrenheit and a lower limit of 17 degrees. My experience of the bag is that cold spots are noticeable around 35 degrees (sleeping in top and bottom thermals). the bag compresses well and easily fits into a Large Sea to Summit compression sack. This bag performed well with two notable complaints: I found the stitching in the quilting of the bag to be limiting. It feels as the stitching restricts movement rather than stretching with the user as the stitching in the lithium does. The material also loses down more quickly than I have experienced with my Lithium. A friend of mine using the women's Ouray sleeping bag (2017) has experienced a similar rate of loss of down. Overall, I would absolutely buy this bag again with the expectation of a limited season 30-45 degrees (Autumn). For colder sleepers, I recommend the Marmot Lithium.

I snagged 2 pairs of these at the beginning of summer and have loved them. I debated between the 7 and 5in inseam and went with the bold 5 in. They fit me better and show off these wonderful legs my Momma gave me.

The Freerydr is a versatile everyday pant pant. I wear them as casual as well as a dress up pair of pants. They are comfortable in all the right places and are true to size. The color was just as described on the website.
