Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this sleeping pad. I’m a side sleeper, and it works great. I also have lower back issues that it accommodates pretty well. Not as great as sleeping at home in bed, but best I’ve experienced on the trail. Otherwise it’s well but with a great valve that doesn’t require twisting - just push/pull. Recommend leaps and bounds above any Therm-A-Rest I’ve owned.

Excellent, functional shorts. Fit is perfect (i.e. not baggy, not long). You should go a size down in the waist though. Cool, but subtle at the same time. Can confirm they work well as swim trunks too. I have 4 pairs. Get some!

Buying sunglasses is hard. Always feel like I’m rolling the dice when getting online. Luckily these worked out. YMMV, but they fit my head-fave just right. Very similar to the Von Zipper Lomax, which I’ve owned several pairs of - maybe more streamlined though. Otherwise very solid.

Replaced a pair of Brooks Cascadia 10s with these. Now it’s a whole new ballgame. I trail-run daily on the “roller coaster” on the Appalachian Trail in Clarke County, VA, so I’m pushing these shoes to their max. About a week in, and I’m still loving them. Very grippy and supportive. Also more cushioned than they look, but wouldn’t run roads w/ them. Opted for non-Gore to start, but may get a pair for colder weather in snow/rain. Speed-laces are nice. Will be interested in abrasion resistance, as I’m running VERY rocky trails.

Will update review if I encounter any issues.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Wanted to like this jacket. The look is great, and it fits really well (5'8"/165, and I wore a medium). The problem is the snow skirt. I could tell out of the box that it wouldn't work well. It's minimal, and the drawcord bunched the jacket up really weird in the front. It was uncomfortable to boot, as it grabbed around my butt, vs around my waist, where a skirt should typically sit. If you're looking for a really expensive city jacket, or something for sledding, I guess it would be ok. In the end, I returned it. I'll be looking for more of a dedicate shell.
