Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large
The jacket has a great fit, an excellent number of pockets and all the features I could ask for.
My one problem is the zippers - they handles are really small and the zip action itself offers a lot of resistance. They're so small in fact that I had trouble getting a lift ticket hang tag to attach to them.
That said, I've had no issues with water getting in the pockets, so possibly the resistance has a purpose. Still, bigger zippers handles would really be nice - especially with mittens on.
When purchasing this, it was mostly between this and the Arcteryx Rush. The Rush had way, way, way easier to use zippers, but fewer pockets. I ended up going with this one mostly for the additional pockets and Patagonia's warranty.
As others have noted, the material is a bit crunchy. While annoying when trying it on, I've never noticed it while skiing so I wouldn't consider it a bad thing.
