Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I used this bleed kit after installing Magura 8MT brakes on my bike. I had to run the rear brake hose through the frame, so I expected to have to bleed them after installing. Turns out, you can get the job done without bleeding being necessary. I found no air in the system and the brakes work perfectly. But, if you do need to bleed the brakes, this kit will do the job. [Many times over, I might add.]

To put it simply, these brakes have the best feel and control of any I have ever used. They are mounted on my Pivot Mach 429SL with 160mm Storm rotors. The levers adjust to a perfect position with ease, and are very comfortable. I also like the fact that they use mineral oil instead of brake fluid.
Now, if Magura would just make centerlock rotors, so adapters would not be needed. [I used DT Swiss adapters to mount the discs.]

I have these brake rotors on another set of wheels that are six bolt mounted. I needed these centerlock discs for my new wheels. Both mounting versions are the same fit and performance with an exception being, no brake noise with the centerlock. Braking performance is very good with Sram's Level TLM calipers.

I bought this set for two reasons. (1) To update my tools by adding some modern versions of tools that I already own, and add new tools that I do not own. (2) Have a portable set for trips away from home. This set did help in both areas. But, only slightly. The quality of the tools are not up to the level of say, Park tools, but they will get the job done. As far as having what is needed to get most jobs done, I still had to go to my old tool set to replace a Raceface MTB crankset, and also changing a Sram XO1 eagle cassette. Due to the sprocket pliers not engaging well and a lack of leverage of the cassette retainer tool. My old Park tools worked much better to perform both operations. Plus this set does not have a ISIS BB tool for removing/installing Raceface front chainrings on their cranks. Other tools in the kit are nice, such as the large allen wrenches with handles, nice tire tools, spoke and valve wrenches, along with some other service tools that may be useful in future repairs. Overall, the kit is a good purchase if you do not own many specialized bicycle tools and need a good starter kit. But, expect to have to add to your collection if you venture beyond the most basic repairs. And finally, Make sure you own torque wrenches for any work on carbon fiber parts.

I ordered the red color, which may be relevant here. These gloves work well, are comfortable, and offer good feel and control. The problem here is: My hands have developed a very nasty rash on the backsides, in identical patterns on both hands. After visiting two doctors, and a dermatologist to find the cause of the irritated skin. It was concluded that an allergic reaction is the cause. Since these gloves are the only change in recent times, I have been inclined to believe that they are the cause, and are rendered useless. Which is too bad, since I do like them. I do hope that this was just a fluke thing and that no one else has a problem.

I simply chose this this bar over other carbon riser bars, due to it's appearance. It is otherwise as good as any when it comes to function, and seems to be a top quality product. Fit and function are spot on. I have it mounted on my Pivot Mach 429SL with a Renthal apex stem. Also, my Ergon GSX grips clamp on without any threat of crushing the bars.

I love the adjustment system, the fit and feel of these shorts. Pockets are well designed, and the quality seems good. Much better than a pair fox shorts that are constantly falling down. [I'm not a fan of the low short look.] On my bike, function is all that matters. These work!

I have the XO1 group on both of my bikes. Shifting is spot on and the quality seems quite good. Something I do like in particular is that, the downshifts are very good. No need to push the lever past the click, unless you want to downshift more than one gear. My older Shimano XT is not nearly as crisp. I have actually had to get used to such accurate shifting. That is a good thing.
