Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this shoe mostly as a beater shoe in the gym and use a more aggressive shoe for outside climbing. It's pretty comfortable as the leather has stretched a lot, edges well, and smears and heel-hooks decently. I can see it as a great beginner shoe or a solid gym option since it is priced really well.
I sized down 1 full size and kind of regret it as it can get uncomfortable. I'll probably buy this again for gym climbing and will size down 1/2 size.

I have a small face and when I tried these on, I was concerned that they would fall off and give me sweat marks. Not true! I've hiked, backpacked, and climbed with them, and despite looking down a lot, the rubber pads help them stay on. They also don't fog up very easily. Very happy with this purchase and will continue buying Smith glasses.

This is a nice top for swimming, going to the beach, etc. I've had trouble with the pads staying in place so I ended up sewing them to the suit. A friend has the same top and it suited her fine. I thought the cross back would be okay for surfing, but it ends up shifting around a bit. (Luckily I haven't flashed anyone yet, but I've been close.) No chafing problems though. Overall, I think I would have preferred to go with a different Patagonia top with more front coverage, like the Mamala.

I have a small face and usually have trouble with sunglasses falling off during hiking/other activities. These always stay on and are perfect for almost any activity. I also like how they easily transition from active to casual wear. I end up wearing these around all the time.

I use this bag all the time for work! Sometimes I've had trouble finding bags that can fit my 15" laptop, but this bag does the trick fitting it (even though the zipper is snug at the top). I got the pack in Lake Blue and it looks good with anything from sport-casual clothes to dresses. Additionally, it's nice to carry around the pack without worrying about the rain, since the fabric is water-resistant.
Though I initially thought I would use this bag as a tote and a backpack, I use it mostly as a backpack. I'm 5'0", so the shoulder straps and the long tote hang a little low and hit my hip. However, as this is not an issue for most normal-sized people, I don't think I can subtract stars because it's so versatile.

When I received the pack I was worried that it would be overkill for a daypack and that the torso was too long. I'm 5'0" and while this pack is a little too long for me, it has suited me well on long day hikes and sits comfortably.
It cinches up pretty small for times when I don't necessarily need the full 34 L, but I'm excited to use it for long surveys/collecting samples. There are so many pockets that cameras/tools/rite-in-the-rains are easily accessible.
