I’m always a 7.5 and per instruction as to all other Chaco reviews, I sized down. I Recommend sizing up if on the half for this particular chaco because the band across the foot is tight. Yes, it’ll stretch a little, BUT it ends up pushing your foot back off the end of the sandal which isn’t good. Cute. Comfortable. The RUST is really a red brown. If I reorder in the right size I feel the sand would go with more.

I had never bought Marmot before, but found this on clearance with a discontinued Emerald-teal-like color. Incredibly well made, and will hold up for a long time. It is worth paying full price for it, and through Backcountry especially as they have fast shipping, great return policies, and the best customer service (hands down, no contest). Great shape, stretches to accommodate layers, and is long enough in the back/doesn't raise up in the front with activity. Blocks wind incredibly well. I wear this on 20 degree sunny, windy days with a Ventrix midlayer and am warm, dry, and ready to climb/ski/do ALL the things. Sleeves are long enough. Hood and bottom hem are adjustable, as are sleeves. Surprisingly an XS fit. I'm usually a small (and fit a small sized North Face midlayer under it with full range of motion). Great pockets. It is usable from late summer through late spring. Packs up nicely as well for travel! You won't regret this purchase.

Warm, soft, well made, and stylish with the leather (provides some grip for grabbing a cold steering wheel in the winter without feeling the cold). However, the fleece lining is shorter than the knit, so although my fingers fit into the insulated inside perfectly, the outer layer knit fingertips are a lot longer which makes it hard to grasp things well...which is why I was looking for lined gloves instead of my mittens. Keeping for the warmth, but maybe i'll try to sew the tips of the fingers to fit better.

This coat is stylish and repels rain really well due to the waxed canvas. The plaid lining is a great pop of color to the black coat, and the button details are brassy and lovely. The pockets are lined with a low pile fleecey material and really soft--and the right location for your hands to fit without putting your arms at an awkward angle. Sleeves are long enough for my gangly arms. It is kind of heavy and seems substantial, HOWEVER, this coat is NOT warm. It is perfect for fall, and best in raw weather to be paired with a lightweight midlayer (like the ventrix) in order to be comfortably warm outside for periods of time (without looking stuffed/puffy). I ordered the small so I could layer under, but still ended up moving that decorative(/functional?) snap belt in the back on the tighter setting in order to give it a little more shape. It bunches a little in the back now, but the fit is better (aka: not form fitting but skims the curves in a comfortable, correct, outdoorsy jacket way). All in all, a cute fall coat for around town :)

This shirt rocks. Really soft material, a kind of terry on the inside so it is thicker/warmer than a normal long sleeve tee. The hem makes it more interesting. It fits TTS and is very well made, no stray threads. It has survived 5 washes so far without any issue. More colors please!

I really, really wanted to love this jacket. The garnet is the perfect color. It was super warm and really soft. The outline looked feminine. However, the cut of this jacket is way weird. I'm always a small. Always. The jacket was SO tight around my hips and I am a straight'n'narrow person. But the bigger issue is I couldn't size up because the arms were cut extremely baggy. I could have fit 3 arms in one sleeve. Very, very bizarre cut. Sadly, it was returned.

This jacket is THE.BEST. I did a lot of research on it vs. similar offerings from patagonia, arc'teryx, OR, etc. and am so glad I tried this one. The red color is actually much nicer in person, a lovely bright cherry red w/fig on the inside. It is so lightweight it feels like you're not even wearing a coat, yet you're instantly warm--it's perfect for 40 degrees and up by itself, but is warmest when worn with a shell. In colder weather I pair mine with a wool layer and/or my softshell for outdoor activities, and my Kavu sundowner jacket/columbia parka for around town. Because its so light I don't look like the staypuft man in any of the pairings. It is wearable from fall all the way through spring. Best of all, I am always too hot or too cold, and have NEVER sweated in this jacket. It regulates body temperature wonderfully--whether you're walking the dog or skiing/snowshoeing/etc. It may look more techy than some of the other offerings, but it is made of stronger material and doesn't rip. The sleeves are really well reinforced, and the different color reinforcement isn't as noticeable as it looks in some of the pictures. Its pockets have correct placements for your hands (not an awkward angle/location), and the correct depth (including chest pocket!). I'd love a pocket on the inside next time, Northface! The length is great in the back because it covers your butt, and it doesn't ride up in front to expose your stomach when you raise your arms. So, pretty perfect for a lot of outdoor pursuits. Speaking of arms, mine are insanely long and northface sleeves are always is long enough to cover my wrists completely. All in all, great purchase. Worth the money. **Note:1: to save you the feeling of being an idiot, the care instruction tag is on the upper inside of the left pocket.
