Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this watch to my 14 year-old step son for Xmas and he loves how simple and rugged this watch is. He pays football, does parkour, and is now wrestling, so he's used to being active. When he's with his friends, he forgets that he's using it so it gets put through the wringer of physical activities during which the watch takes it's fair share of bumps. Happy to report the watch is simply unfazed with all the roughhousing and I have a very happy teen at home.

Great for when your taking basically a change of clothes, a towel and some toiletries to the gym. It's pretty much what you'd expect out of gym bag when that's all you'll be using it for.
I like the fact that it is this size precisely because it isn't bulky or difficult to carry. Will fit even the tightest of gym lockers, taking that concern away when you're visiting a new gym and are not quite sure how much room you'll get for your stuff.

The packability of the duffel is it's main attraction. It is super compact making it easy to find a corner for it in your main travel bags. It is also very roomy once fully opened and it will hold a lot stuff, but it also feels a bit on the thin side; an understandable trade-off.
Will not be using it much as a main bag, but will certainly take it with when I know I'll be bringing back a lot of souvenirs while on vacation.

Got this for my girlfriend and she loves wearing it over a baselayer for cold winter running. The stretchy panels on the sides give her great mobility and keep her dry. The insulated portions on the chest and back offer just the right amount of warmth to avoid overheating during the run. The thumbholes on the sleeves are a nice sealing off the cold air from coming in through the sleeve openings. She's very pleased so far and would highly recommend it.

From the stainless steel buckle to the heavy duty nylon strap, this is the last belt you'll need or use for skiing and/or overall mountaineering. It has plenty of material for people of any waist size, but you will have to tuck in the substantial portion on the pant loops if you are smaller-waisted; consider cutting it if you think you need to.
When the belt is set in place it will not budge. Book it.
Great belt; highly recommended.

Most people will gravitate to thinner ski socks, and I have a few pair of those myself, but I was pleasantly surprised to love slipping these on when the temps are real low. They have a tight fit (as I've found with most Darn Tough socks), and I feel that helps in making this thicker sock feel no so bulky in the boot. I feel as much control in these socks as with thin socks, with the added benefit of the extra warmth. Get them and you'll quick turn to these socks when skiing in the coldest of conditions.

Merino wool is where it's at. They do a great job at keeping my foot dry after spending all day in the slopes. Warm but thin, I also never lose the feel for my boots when pushing hard. AND, it's nice to feel that my feet are not sopping wet at the end of a long ski day. Must get.

Basic and sturdy, best fit for Crescent Moon shoes given their aggressive teardrop shaped shoes. Shoulder strap is a good feature, but this item is not particularly feature-laden.
Does the job and looks like it will last for a while.
Would like to see at least some velcro straps for carrying poles in future models.

As with so many pieces these days, comfort and style is at a premium and this piece delivers both. Gave this to my girlfriend as a present and I see her wear it all the time (full disclosure, she had her eye on the piece way before I got it for her). It fits great on her and she uses it to go out on the town. Its soft and stretchy comfort keeps her coming back to this shirt again and again.

Being new to skiing, I wanted a sturdy no-nonsense helmet to get me going. Very pleased to say this helmet is just what the doctor ordered as it is light weight and comfortable.
Can't stress enough that you should measure your head accurately to get a good fit as I did try the L size before settling on the M size for my noggin. Snug without being too tight, I have felt the helmet give as I wear it to allow for comfort while remaining snug.
The inner pads keep my head and ears warm without having me reach for a bandanna or other head gear. Also, I can literally see the fog dissipate from my (Smith I/O 7) goggles almost instantaneously if I have a face mask on and happen to breathe a little too heavily on runs. It 's super nice to see that the vents work well with the anti-fogging features of the goggles to keep the lens clear.
Also the fit wit the goggles works great to virtually eliminate any gaps between the two. Highly recommend.

I'm older than I care to admit and saw a lot of the skate-style footwear and apparel blossom during my school days. Always thought it was cool and simple with a purpose. That was back then, and still glad to see it appreciated by a new generation now.
Super comfortable, simple and timeless. Anyone and everyone looks cool in these Vans shoes. I mean, what does it say about the style when its still going strong after remaining virtually unchanged for the last 50 years?

Gave these sunglasses to my girlfriend and she wears them everywhere. Perfect fit for her heart-shaped face. She looks great in them and reports seeing super clearly while driving and even in the harshest of lights. Must get for the person who loves looking stylish while getting their sun protection on.

I gave this to a relative who is still in college and walks a ton to and from school; waiting for transportation and in between classes. He reports it being his go-to jacket for cold and wet conditions, instantly becoming his favorite outdoor piece. It's very roomy and comfortable and he reports staying warm and dry, even during the winter months here in Utah. Would definitely recommend to any person who spends a considerable amount of time outdoors in wet and rainy conditions, or even just for when you need to stay dry during the occasional rainy day.

Gave this shirt to a relative who works out all all the time and this is the piece that I see him wear the most. I asked how it performs and he said he loved the range of motion that he got while lifting weights and even doing parkour. He says it's almost like he not wearing a shirt, while still keeping warm during his workouts. Would definitely recommend for active use in most warmer weather and as a baselayer for cold weather activities. Great fit and good protection.

Gave to a relative who is an avid runner and biker, even during the winter months and he uses it all the time. He uses it without any other layers in weather as cold as 30 degrees and he reports saying very dry and protected. He feels like he forgets that it is cold when using it and can concentrate more on his breathing and his stride rather than in feeling cold. That you don't have to pay much to take cold weather out of the equation for performing during the winter months tells you all you need to know about the value of this piece. Would recommend to any active person who live in cold weather places and is minding his/her budget.

Merino wool is where it's at! Soft with natural elastic, this fabric feels warm, but does not make you overheated when coming down the slopes. It is also odor-resistant,; can't say enough about that, especially because I use it as a snow mask on a regular basis. No ski gear bag is complete without a Buff

Reading the other reviews on this product, I'm of the opinion that this product is solely meant to be used while carrying the rest of your gear in a larger bag. It works just fine while in my ski boot bag along with my gloves, gaiters, hats and everything else I have packed in there.
I also like that it has an elastic and soft cloth on the lid to hold extra lenses, though I would like a stiffer divider between the two compartments for added protection.
