Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Call this whatever you want. Man-purse. murse, european carryall, manny pack, shoulder bag, or my personal favorite... satchel (Indiana Jones has one). I freaking love this bag and don't go anywhere without it. I've always hated having stuff in my pockets, but figured that as a dude you just lived with it. Well after getting fed up with my increasing carry needs, getting this bag changed the game and freed up all my pockets and I now have so much more room for activities.

Strap is comfortable for extended use and can be adjusted to whatever length works best for you in whatever fashion you choose to wear it, though Id highly recommend the crossbody. The design and functionality of the layout and pockets of the bag is exactly what you would expect from Arc'teryx, let me tell you about them.

Starting at the back of bag which will be closest to you when wearing it is a phone slot just under the grab handle, such a small feature, but honestly one of my favorites. Deep enough that I never worry about it bouncing out or anything, but not so deep that its a pain in the ass to get your phone out every time, a veritable goldilocks of phone pockets. It also seems to be slightly padded which is a nice touch. Fits my Galaxy S10 phone perfectly.

Next is the main comparment of the bag, and the biggest pocket. It has full divider in it essentially creating a sort of tablet sleeve in the back of the pocket if you want to use it that way but doesnt take up any room if not used. This will be where your biggest items go, water bottles, hard sunglass case, a book, etc. In the top of this large main compartment is a smaller zippered pocket the width of the bag thats great to keep small items secure and easily accessible.

Moving another pocket forward is the horizontal zippered pocket that is the middle pocket of the bag and is just as great as the last one. This one is slimmer, but has 3 vertical organizational sleeves along it to keep things orderly, Pens, box of toothpicks, knife, gum etc. In here you will also find a key leash and clip which I find super handy, its at the top of the pocket so you can just grab the base of it and pull your keys out without having to dig for them.

In front of the middle pocket on the front of the bag is a veritcal zippered pocket the zipper for which is under a little flap so its not easily seen in the photos, but it is there, and it is awesome. No organization in this one but its fairly low profile so you wont be putting too much in there, I usually keep my wallet, chapstick, a little moleskin notebook, etc, in there,

It really feels like there is a spot for everything in this, it has helped me to stay organized and I forget things alot less, I also always know where my keys and sunglasses are which is so nice. I really cant say enough good things about this. If you have ever wanted a bag this is the one to get and I can promise you will kick yourself for waiting so long.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this to my dad as a gift and its been a huge hit! It was super easy to put together with no tools required and can be done by one person though its easier with two. Looks nice, seems solidly built and stays firmly planted on the ground, never feels like its going to tip over or move when getting in or out. Awesome addition to any backyard to enjoy lounging in the sun. I assume it will work with any hammock but he's using it with the ENO Doublenest and it works great.

I have a couple other pairs of flex shorts and they all had a boxer brief liner, I bought these expecting the same. As you have probably gathered by now these have a brief liner. I was not stoked at first but since I loved the others so much I figured I'd give them a try and ended up liking them enough to keep them.

Nice deep hand pockets allows you to put something in there and have it stay put for the duration of a run. I usually put a package of honey stinger chews in there and have never had it bounce out, and typically dont even notice its in there during a run. Nice for after runs as well to put your wallet or something similar in in case you need to run some errands. Zip pocket at the back to secure valuables on a run, I put my keys in there but its big enough for a phone. Also has a smaller inner stretch pocket inside the liner thats good for a single small key, emergency tp, etc.

Super lightweight with good breathability thanks to the perforations in the back and full range of motion with the 5 inch inseam and small side splits, awesome for hot summer runs with no chafing and plenty of comfort for long mileage runs.

I needed a cheap pair of glasses for activities where they may get wrecked, running, hiking, floating the river, etc. The price on these is what attracted me to them, but they look and perform well above their price!

Nice and lightweight, dont bounce around while Im running, and dont slip while Im getting sweaty. Fit my medium to large face well, they would probably be a bit large for someone with a small face. Seem well made and pretty durable, they have already taken a couple spills and are no worse for the wear. As an added bonus they look good too! I find myself wearing them for casual use with my normal rotation of smith and Oakley glasses.

This thing rocks and can do alot of things for such a little lantern. It has the normal lantern adjustability with a wide range of brightness to fit your situation. The added stand is a nice touch as well to be able to position it to your liking, hang it, or use it to clip to your pocket. It also has a strobe function, and a red light function to be able to be used a bike light.

Awesome that its rechargeable, I used the Biolite Solar panel 5+ to recharge it on a recent trip and it worked great. Can also be charged at home or in the car with a USB. My favorite part though is that it can be used as a powerbank to recharge your phone or other USB devices. So cool and well thought out, instantly became a must have in my camping kit.

Recently had a chance to try this out during a camping trip and really loved it! Super easy to use with the sundial in the corner and kickstand on the back to ensure its in the best possible position. I just left it at camp to recharge during the day but corner latches would also make it easy to attach if you wanted to take it with you on a backpack for on the go charging as well.

The on board battery is a great feature, no need to remember an extra battery and can get it charged up via USB before the trip or in the car on the way so its ready to go on the first use when you need it. It will only charge a phone once but if you have good sun you can just recharge it during the day. A bigger on board battery would have made it 5 stars.

Initially I got these in the black color, but they were too big, and I have plenty of black pants.. I decided to roll the dice and try the olive drab color and I'm really happy I did. They look really nice in person and its not really a color you see all that often. That and the small stitching details make them unique.

Fit is true to size, they were pretty tight in the upper legs initially when I put them on the first time but after wearing them for a half hour or so they stretched perfectly and look awesome. I wash them cold and hang dry them and haven't had any issues with the fit since. They are only offered in a 32 inch inseam which is too long for me but I just cuff them and they look fine.

Easy to dress up or down and the stretch makes them great for active use, climbing, riding a bike, etc. super versatile! The extra zip pocket seemed weird at first but I actually really like it and I can fit my phone in it. Super happy with these, may end up getting the black pair in the right size as well because you can never have enough black pants.

It was time to replace my old Smith Vantage helmet after multiple seasons and crashes where it undoubtedly did its job and prevented or minimized injury. I thought I would try something different, but after trying on a bunch of other helmets, the choice was clear, the Vantage was the best out there and I am happy to back in one.

Super light, low profile, and comfortable, after a few minutes I forget that I am wearing it and can comfortably wear it for a bell to bell day with no issues. Awesome ventilation control lets you adjust your airflow with how much and where you need it most. I run very warm so I have it open most of the time and it breathes very well and I almost never overheat. Fit is awesome, the boa system lets you dial in your perfect fit and can adjust for whatever liner, balaclava, etc. you want to put under it. Cant say enough good things about this, I know when this one wears out I will immediately replace it with another.

These are a great pair of running shorts with alot to love in something so small. Fit and feel is great as you would expect from Nike. The liner boxer/brief is snug, offers good support, mild compression and is comfortable for longer runs.

The thing I love most about them is the actual functional pockets. 2 deep hand pockets allow you to put something in there and run without it falling out. One rear zippered pocket for extra security for valuable items like keys, though its actually big enough that I can fit my phone in it, and the fact that its a vapor barrier means I dont have to worry about ruining whatever is in there with sweat. There is also one more small stealth pocket on the inside of the liner on the waistband that you could put a small key or something in as well. Overall very pleased with these and wish we had more colors!

I LOVED my Gel-Nimbus 19s that I had previously. They were getting a little rough after 450 miles, soles were worn smooth (or missing) in alot of places, and they were starting to feel a pretty dead like they may start to give my some knee problems soon. I was real stressed when I saw they had made some changes to this newest version in the 21 and was worried they wouldn't be as good as the 19s I had come to love. I could not have been more wrong.

The updated forefoot shape in these is amazing. I was skeptical when I put them on at first because they felt so roomy in the forefoot and toebox. There was no way all this room wasnt going to give me blisters or cause some other unseen issue. Again, I was wrong, they are SO comfortable and have been from the very first mile.

For my first run I just did 4 miles on a treadmill to make sure they were going to be ok, and I had 0 issues, no stiffness, no break in, no hotspots, nothing. The next day I took them out for 10 miles on the road and had the same experience, nothing but awesome comfort mile after mile and my feet felt great at the end of it. As of this review I have about 75 miles on including multiple 10 milers and still have not had any issues.

Lacing is great, it feels like it has more stretch or adjustment or something than the previous version. My other favorite small thing is that the tongue does not shift at all which was one gripe I had with previous versions. Its really easy to dial in your perfect tightness throughout and it stays once you have it where you want it.

Plenty of cushion for long run comfort while still offering good response for shorter faster runs, and never feels soft or spongy. Breathable mesh upper is going to be a nice feature on warmer summer days for sure, but I dont have any issues with it being too cold in the winter either.

I found the fit to be consistent with the 19, I sized up from my typical sneaker/street shoe size by a half size in both and they fit perfect. Do your feet and running a favor and pick yourself up a pair of these, you wont regret it!

After running out of the mixed berry that I loved I decided to try the coconut almond. They do taste like coconut and almond as advertised, and they were yummy and provide a nice little energy boost. Personally I still like the mixed berry better and if I had to choose I would get the mixed berry over coconut almond.. I wish they sold a variety pack of these!

These jeans rock! I'm super picky about pants, especially jeans, they have to be just right or Ill never wear them. Well these were more than just right they were perfect and I wear them all the time.

Fit is great, slim and modern without being overly tight or constricting. The added stretch is awesome for when some impromptu activities arise and you need them to move with you. They are a nice medium weight, will be able to comfortably wear in the summer for sure but don't find them to be cold in the winter. Opening is just big enough to go over boots, but not so big that it looks goofy with sneakers. Really couldn't be happier with these and will probably pick up some other colors.

This is a really lightweight shirt. I am not sure I would even classify it as a flannel personally, but its still an awesome shirt. It doesn't really add any warmth but I like that I will still be able to wear it in the warmer months we have ahead. The added stretch is a really nice feature that allows for full range of movement with no constriction. Looks really nice in person, great way to class it up a bit in those situations where a t shirt wont do. I did find it to run small. I am usually a medium in most stuff including my other stoic flannels but had to size up to a large for this.

I got one of these jackets as a gift and even if I hadn't after trying it on I would have bought one for myself. Nice lightweight warmth with plenty of style for every day winter wear without looking overly technical. The Ponderosa color looks great in person, its much more of a dark forest green than the blue-green hue it appeared on my screen. ZIppers are smooth and seem high quality. Love the big drop in pocket on the inside as well to stash a beanie, gloves, or maybe even goggles in in a pinch. Great warmth to weight ratio and the fabric seems more durable than alot of down jackets out there. It has been bleeding a bit more down than I am used to, I am hoping thats just because its new and will settle out, but not a deal breaker by any means. I personally didnt find the need to size up like others. I am a medium pretty across the board at 5'10 150 with broad shoulders, and a medium fit great in this and looks super sharp, a large was way too loose and looked sloppy.

great little case to keep your sunnies safe when not in use. Its not a true fully rigid hard case but has plenty of structure to protect your glasses from getting squished, impacts, etc. It fits well in most pockets as well. I keep in my car and have finally managed not to lose or scratch my new sunglasses for the first time in my life. A great investment at $10.00 for sure. Soft interior, dont need to put glasses in a bag before putting them in. Smooth zipper works great with no hangups. Ive had it for about a year and its still like new.

Excellent mug! My girlfriend takes forever to drink her coffee, and on the weekdays takes it to go in a travel mug that keeps it hot for hours, but likes to drink out of a mug at home on the weekends. This thing is perfect for that, it performs like their travel mugs and cups keeping it warm for hours but with the mug handle for a more traditional coffee cup feel. The lid seals on there really good with no leaking between the seams. I have used it a few times as well and am going to grab one for myself too!

I gave this to my niece for Christmas and she loves it. It looks super cute and stylish, and with the zip in liner its super versatile. The fleece liner is soft and comfortable and provides a good amount of warmth for those cold days. The outer shell is waterproof and stood up to a week in London without any issues getting wet. The added coverage of the drop hem is a nice feature as well and adds to the stylish look of this jacket. The color combo on the New Taupe Green colorway looks great in person as well. Fits true to size, she normally a large and that fit great in this.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite water bottles/coffee thermoses, its awesome for both and I love that. Love the ceramic lining that does not give any metal taste to whatever you are drinking and does not hold on to tastes or smells either. Really like that it fits in my cars cup holder as well, and the carry handle that folds into the lid is the icing on the cake. Great bottle with a color to suit everyones taste and the finish offers good grip and seems to be durable to take some abuse as well.

This thing is awesome! I took it on a 10 hour road trip and not only did everything stay plenty cold, but the ice I put in it at the beginning of the day way still fully frozen when I arrived at my destination. It was a sunny day driving through southern Utah, Vegas, and Phoenix which made it even more impressive. Its small but actually holds a decent bit of stuff, plenty for a days worth of food/snacks. Seems really well built too, I expect to be using this for years to come. Red color looks awesome in person and is really vibrant.
