Doug Conway's Bio

Originally from Chicago, I made my way out west three years ago from VT in search of more, and better pow! I live in Park City and when I'm not working I'm usually snowboarding at Park City or mountain biking at Deer Valley!

She caters to your every need! Floats through pow like a 747, stable at speed, and most of all is a freestyle-inspired split! My previous split was fun on the downhill, but was too directional to feel good riding switch. Thanks to the Flight Attendant ‍✈️ that’s no longer a problem!

I had the cheaper dakine bibs from last season and liked them, but wanted to upgrade this season and let me tell you, these things are legit! Zero complaints. 3l Goretex is durable, the cut and especially the spandex upper back is super comfortable. And they look pretty cool!

The rest of my baselayers are merino so I figured I’d give them a shot and they are worth every penny. Comfortable, durable, temperature regulating, naturally odor-resistant... what else do you need?

This thing has a built-in facemask so I wouldn’t wear it out casually, but on the slopes it is unmatched. It’s water resistant, and the poly/merino blend is WARM. I wear it on days where it is lightly snowing, and obviously all sunny days. If it’s down in the 20’s I just throw a warm merino midlayer under it and I’m good. Hopefully O’Neill makes this again next season so I can get another in a different color!
