Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
I bought this in store at Rab after the store manager sold me on it. All other reviews are accurate. It is a glorified fleece type shirt, it does seem like it wont hold up to abrasion and it does keep you cool when its cold?
It is a fleece but better that can hold up to abrasion. I rock climbed with it going through a tight chimney in The Garden of the Gods with what feels like 20 grit sandpaper and no signs of abrasion. I have also trail ran in the snow with it and a T-shirt. It does a great job at dispersing the heat and keeping me at a perfect temperature. Not that water resistant but it does what it is suppose too, be a mid layer or light outer layer or a heavy weight base layer. I served in the Marine Corps and my most valuable piece of gear was my wobbie blanket... if you know what Im talking about, this is a wobbie half zip jacket. I love mine, going to buy another!!
Also the yellow isn't whats pictured its more of a dijon yellow with grey zipper, hated it online, ended up going with the yellow. It is a nice change from most gear companies color choices.
