I have used these from basic trail running, street, rugged wilderness, rock scrambles, cliff jumping etc... no matter what i throw at them these shoes work flawlessly! i have been very happy with the support and comfort of the shoes even after 20+ mile runs on rugged trail. if you need a lightweight terrain destroyer buy these shoes!

OMFG! This board DESTROYS pow!!!! The feel is very surfy but carving is exceptional! This thing is a finely tuned mountain killing machine! if you are a mostly directional free-rider you have just found the holy grail of snowboards! It is so responsive and floats over everything. when you go over ghost tracks you cant even feel them, when you are DEEP pow you can charge without any concerns of sinking. My advice is to buy one of these and take it to the steepest and deepest you can find! It is hands down my favorite board I have ever ridden!!!

I have owned these boots for 3 years now and they have been on everything from week long off trail backpacks, scree slogging, rock climbing, snow climbing, light mountaineering, and they have crushed every objective! They are still in fantastic shape!!! I would buy some nikwax and retreat your leather at least once a season. I will probably be buying another pair before next summer! If you need a multi-sport mountain shoe look no further!! These boots turned me on to Scarpa and now that is the only brand of outdoor shoe I own

The Dragon's don't have the same walking issue as my C4 Camelot's. They have the extendable sling to save time and weight. I have taken huge whippers on these guys and felt great about the placement when cleaning. Most cams will get the job done but if you are on smooth rock, the Dragons make a world of difference with the triple grip heads, I haven't had any of my placements walk. Only reason not to love them is if you climb aid.

I keep all of my must stay dry items in this bag (sleep system/ layers/ anything down). It has been set in the snow/ wet conditions, and performed beautifully. Nothing has even gotten damp in here. I have not submerged it or exposed it to water for long periods of time, but in regular backpacking/mountaineering applications it has worked flawlessly. The air release system is slow but effective, and i have had no issues with moisture on the vent portion.

I have used a few different brands of Split skins but these by far have been the overall best. I found the glue to be very sticky after 1 full season. The traction is much better than the "high traction" G3's i had before and the glide is actually pretty good also. When these finally wear out i will buy the same pair again!

I use these and C4 Camalots. I prefer the Dragon over the camalot in hand cracks for a couple reasons. I feel that they are lighter and easier to handle than the camalot. I really appreciate the extendable sling that saves using a draw. It "seems" to have less issues walking due to the teeth on the lobes.

I love them! I trust these bad buys more than a cam, and they are super light. The sling is genius thanks DMM .I have taken lead falls on these and still been able to retrieve. bottom line you should own a set

Mountaineer's Dream

This Axe worked worked flawlessly. I just took it on a mixed climbing trip over 12,600 ft. It worked just as well on ice and snow pack as it does on rock. Using it in "canne" mode works well in snow pack, but left some to be desired on hard ice. The pick bites in very well and removes very easily. I recommend this for mountaineering and mixed snow/rock climbing. ** i have also been ice climbing with this ax and although it isn't a tech tool it performed perfectly

I have used this from 17-35 degrees without a pad and it is amazing! I'm always warm, and comfortable. The down quality is great. It regains its loft quickly after being in the stuff sack. It is super light and I love the venting, and cinching capability to increase or decrease warmth.

Update: i have used this bag with a fleece liner and 3.2R value pad down to 0 degrees F and I was comfortable in a base layer

The Saxx kinnetic are the perfect high activity boxer brief. I have done backpacking, trail running, mountaineering, rock climbing in these bad boys and i am always impressed. no rubbing or bouncing or chaffing. I own quite a few pairs of these now and highly recommend them!!!

1 more reason to love Scarpa! These shoes fit perfectly, not too tight but definitely not loose. The laces really let you dial in the perfect fit and they fit like a glove. I've taken these on a range of climbs up to 5.10 (on rock) and have not been disappointed. If you are looking for a great intermediate shoe that is comfortable and not too expensive then look no further
