Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are great boots that are comfortable and have a nice large toe box. I am a snowboarder by trade, but have picked up some skis to cut through the boredom in this lack luster winter in Utah. The boots are very warm and I never get cold feet with just one light sock layer. The only downside is adjusting the buckle and the position on the boot. They are difficult to adjust on the fly and can be difficult to push down as they are past the midpoint on the boot.

This little kit has everything you need to wax and set your edges. Not overly impressed with the edge setter, but the iron and scrapers do the trick. Also comes with great tools to remove burs in edges from all that tree whacking that I do. It only comes with wax for about 2 good waxes, so I would recommend buying some additional blocks. Hopefully never have to use the P-tex

I had the scout gloves and loved them so I gave these bad boys a try. These are warmer than their glove counterpart, which for the current conditions this year is actually not a plus. However, for those bitter cold, cloudy days these are perfect. I maybe one of the few cheerleaders for synthetic and truly dislike leather. I think that the synthetic provides a lighter weight feel, if properly maintained more waterproof, and to me much warmer.

This is not a cashmere sweater. It is old school scratchy wool that you need a nice long sleeve undershirt. As advertised this thing is warm and if you plan on staying most of the day in the office or indoors this maybe a little too warm for you.

This is a great little splitboard that will not break the bank. It was a little heavier than expected and was not as stable as some other inbounds boards I have had. The way the edges are tuned this is not a good board to mix your inbounds play. But overall this is a good board for what it costs.

I could not be more pleased with this jacket. I got this jacket as an alternative to my Mountain Hardware Stretch Down - however I am finding this my go to. It is nice and warm but the breathabillity is great. I can really wear this in all weather as I do not overheat during the Indian Summer we have been having, but is stands up and keeps me warm during some nasty storms. Good job BD.

Other trail runnners can be very stiff and heavy. These are not. They are light weight but provide enough stabilty so you are not rolling your ankle. The traction is great and have not had issues of slipping or sliding on the trails. Durability is not an issue. Have used them in the snow and in the desert and have help up great.

Great pair of gloves, hands do not get to sweaty in them. I have yet to really test them on a big fall, but seem durable enough to withstand my frequent crashes.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these as a gift and his response was: The Banyans Polarized Sunglasses are perfect if you are looking for a light weight, clear pair of sunglasses. The transition from glasses to no glasses on a sunny day is hardly noticeable. I will definitely buy another pair of these when I am due again.
