Derek Andersonwrote a review of Norrona Wool T-Shirt - Men's on March 17, 2018
February ice climbing in Colorado seemed an odd time to follow up on a friendâs recommendation to pick up a wool t-shirt, but after stinking out every base layer in the bag, I gave it a shot by ordering this one. It fit great, but I wanted to run it through its paces over the course of a week to see if it truly would not get stinky. Over the course of seven days, I skied, rock climbed, ice climbed, camped, snowshoed, hiked, and even slept every night in this shirt without washing it. It still did not stink at the end of it, and it kept its shape throughout. If washed properly, I expect it will hold up for a very long time. Itâs a little annoying that itâs made in China given that part of the appeal of buying Norrona is the whole Norwegian heritage thing, but I donât know if the Norwegians still know how to manufacture this kind of shirt at home. It doesnât seem to be a price point issue because the Duckworth wool shirts are also good (maybe better, because they dry faster), are made in the US, and are similarly priced.
