Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've never liked the usual "bag chairs" - the arm rests generally slide downward until they're unusable; and I always feel like I'm slumped too far down when sitting in one. As a senior citizen, getting out of a bag chair is more difficult, too.

While this chair takes up more room than a bag chair, the ingenious take-apart backrest makes this fold into a compact unit (much smaller than most "director's chairs"). Putting it together is a snap - and it's super-comfy to sit in. It seems very well-made and durable - assuming you don't leave it sitting in the sun to rot out- it should last for years?!

First off - I'm a 58 yr old Grandma who's been "roughing it" in an RV for decades, so the fact that I could set this tent up the very first time in about 15 minutes, speaks volumes for the intuitive way it's constructed! Basically - it's impossible to set it up wrong.

There's ample room and it's tall enough that I didn't have to "duck-walk" to enter it. It seems VERY well-made; and yes, it all miraculously fits back in its stuff bag. I love the roof vent in the fly - that should make rainy nights a little more comfortable?

Granted - nothing is as comfy as a motorhome :-) But since THAT won't fit on my kayak, I think this tent will be just perfect!!
