Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have had these boots for 3 years and I am very satisfied. When I looked for boots, I wanted something on the stiffer side, so I would have more support, and a more controlled feel when riding. After shopping around I bought these. To start my feet have not been freezing ever when wearing these. There is a inner liner that has a locking heel support, and this also tightens first with velcro, then laces up on its own inside the boot itself... a very tight start. Then the boot itself tightens with the quick pull laces, with two diff ropes. One for bottom half one for top half. Works well and if standing you can pull very tight. Easy to adjust, warm, and sturdy. I may buy a new pair when Im ready for more.

There is only one Burton model that you see the most of, Cartels. I learned on a board with Cartels, then got these to ride with my first setup, and have not rode on others binding since. Each year they get better with how locked in you feel, and how quick they lock in. They do not freeze up, and the Reflex is compatible with other boards too. Feels very sturdy, and very controlled riding, high back support also a big plus, and the tope straps give more controlled feel too.

I bought a pair of these last season, size does a little large - I ordered large first, then had to get mediums. In comparison I also have Patagonia mid baselayer, I prefer these. I do like these better than the others I have because they fit, but feel as though they are not as restrictive on movement. I will be buying more, kept me warm all day, no space man feel.

I got a 158" last year to replace my Burton Blunt I had been riding. What a difference! I can fly on this board, very stable at the high speeds, and fun to carve on. Did not catch any edges, and felt more comfotable going down new things. I ride this with Cartel Bindings, very happy with the setup. Would recomm.

This suit is one of the best out there, Excel's top model. It will keep you very warm and also keep most of the water out. Like some other reviews say, its very watertight so it won't let much our either, be mindful of how much coffee you drink. You could wear this suit down to a water temp with boots and gloves while some others are wearing their 4/3's.. it really is that good of a suit. Flexible, warm, lightweight, watertight. You can actually see the water bead off when its brand new. good suit for sure.

I have two of these Camelbaks. I have an older model and a newer model for comparison. The older model first - the hydration pouch itself holds the same amount but is all one shape, and the drinking tube and mouth piece are not as big. the compartments themselves inside the pack are very narrow, and once the bladder is full, it is hard to access anything inside of them except the very outside pouch. I did like it when I bought it but after using it a a bunch developed a dislike to these things. The NEWer model - I love it. The bladder is designed diff, the bottom being more narrow than the top, still holding the same amount, but the water does not sit at the bottom as the level get lower, keeping the bladder from bulging out (prev error fixed!. Bc of this the compartments are all easily to access, even when water is completely full. Additionally, these compartments are more thought out, and seem a little roomier. The tube on the bladder and mouth piece are also bigger, and allow more water flow, and the top on the bladder is a screw on vs the weird lock in function before - MUCH MUCH easier. The back on the newer is also slight arched to allow more air flow. Would reccom this to anyone who needs lots of water, and doesn't need a whole lot of space.

Great addition to a Camelbak if it can support it. Some of the older Camelbaks are not compatible with the feature, so make sure yours is before purchasing. If it is compatible then its a cool little upgrade, and makes drinking a little more convenient - the magnet snaps it and out of the mechanism effortlessly instead of having it looped through one of the straps..

Purchased this suit to replace a back zip, and I am very satisfied. I used this suit many many times end of summer going into the fall, and it has worked veyy well. Doesn't flush, or bunch up on the legs. Material is soft, stretchy, and doesn't chaff. Rubber panels in the chest and back add warmth to the suit blocking the wind out tool. I would buy this suit again.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this shoe is hopes of having a lighter weight hiking shoe, and reading all of the great reviews. While I liked the aggressive nature of the tread, and the waterproofing nature of the shoe, I was a little skeptical of the quick lace ups. I still ordered them, and wore them in the house for a few hours to see if they would work,, and even with the light walking around did not feel very comfortable on the heels. I don't know if it was from the quick lacing or the shoe itself, but I returned for the boots, and I'm much more satisfied with those.

These boots fit way better than the lower cut model they have. True to size and comfortable right out of the box. The boot felt very sturdy, and had good toe support when going down steep inclines. The grip on the sole also did a great job of not slipping hiking up steep hills. No blisters, and most def waterproof and breathable. Would recommend these boots, and I can't wait to use them more.
