Before I bought these, I had worn the same pair of Tevas for over a decade. When those finally wore out I picked up a pair of these and could not be happier. They're super comfortable, super adjustable, and stay on your foot no matter what. I also like that they don't weigh a ton either, they definitely aren't the lightest footwear out there, but if you want something that actually supports/protect your foot these are hard to beat.

I've been wanting some Black Diamond trekking poles for a long time, and these don't disappoint. The build quality is exceptional and they feel very sturdy. I haven't given them a full rundown yet but I'm very excited to. My only concern is that I have biggish hands and the grips feel a little small in my hands, we'll see if that is an actual issue or not.

I was really excited when Backcountry started carrying these. I had gotten a sample of these in a Cairn box and quickly used all of them. It seems to work just as well as Deet on mosquitos but doesn't feel nearly as gross. I also like that Picaridin doesn't affect certain fabrics like Deet does. I also feel like I get better coverage with a wipe over a spray. This is what I reach for in almost any situation now.

These are great shoes. I wouldn't take them out on the trail, but they look awesome and are super comfortable. The break-in time was next to nothing and I really like the splash of color on the back. I found these to be true to size, but I do wear thick-ish socks. All-in-all, these are great around town shoes, as long as you take care of the leather.

I walked 180 miles on solid concrete over the course of the Black Friday weekend in these shoes and they still look new. While no one's feet feel great after that much walking on solid concrete, these shoes were definitely a huge help. Keep these things tight or else the cable cinching loops don't support your feet all that well. I really like the abrasion panels on the side they really beef up the durability. As far as the other durability issues other people have had, I have not seen any of those issues. Overall, these are solid shoes!

Sizing can be tough, but super warm

My dog is about 50lbs and is in between the medium and the small. I was worried the small would be too tight so I went with the medium. it's a tad too long and a tiny bit loose which is a bit of a bummer. On the plus side it seems to keep my hiking buddy warm! We tried it out with a quick romp in our first snow here in Virginia and he was as happy as could be for the two hours we were out in it! As a side note I have a smaller friend who has had one for years now and he loves the thing. If you leave him in it in the house he goes comatose in comfort!

Just wore this belt for a weekend camping trip and I barely noticed it was on. The elastic is strong enough to keep you pants up as well as not sagging with a heavy tactical-style knife. The fabric is super soft so it doesn't cut into your skin and I really like the style. Overall would definitely recommend this belt.

My parents bought a SweetWater 15 years ago for our family backpacking trips and used it every summer for almost a decade without an issue. I bought one for myself recently and am happy to say that this is very much the same solid workhorse my family enjoyed back then. This is not the lightest or most compact water treatment system out there. But if your looking for a pump-style system, it's hard to beat the SweetWater for the price.

I've been looking for a fitted meshback warm weather outdoor stuff, but could not find one... until now! I got the Yosemite patch (repping my California roots) and I love the patch. The white mesh does get dirty, which I don't mind, but if you like your hats pristine that might bother you. All in all I really enjoy this hat and I hope that it lasts me a long time!

These pants are super comfortable and really nice looking. I sometimes have trouble finding pants that either make me look frumpy or like I'm about burst out of them. These actually look good! They feel durable enough for work pants but look good enough to be everyday pants. I would buy 10 more pairs of these if I could!

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my little nephew to help him start his adventuring and he loves it! He still has to grow into it some, but he spent all christmas and the next day wearing it. We coupled this with a homemade plush campfire and s'mores set and it made for the best christmas ever. The build quality is just as good as any other Osprey Pack and I think it will last my nephew for a long time.
