Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: Runs small

Like most Castelli, you gotta order up a size, like I did. The chamois on this is wide and good for my broad sit bones. I use these for summer and indoor training. Concerns: the legs have a rubberized grip that leaves a light red rash that is mildly itchy but goes away after a day. The rear stitching has lost a thread but it hasn't affected the usability (yet). The chamois is everything, in my case.

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 152 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I usually buy large in Castelli jerseys, but lately the large felt a bit loose. So I tried a medium on sale. It is quite snug, esp. at the waist (I'm 31''), but so comfortable. I like that it is not too long and does not hang over my rear end. I have larger shoulders and biceps and it still ha room. This is now my favorite jersey. It's thin enough I've used it as a base layer under a long sleeve jersey, which worked great.

I'm 5'10', 155, 39''-40'' chest with thicker arms than most cyclists. I bought the large, and I'm glad I did because this jacket/jersey fits slightly larger in the shoulders, chest, and along the arms than my Gabba jacket. I was worried I'd have to go up to XL but I didn't. This gives me enough room for a good long-sleeve base layer--or even 2--for cold weather riding. And the chest pocket is so useful! I can keep my music/phone right where I really want it.

I'm 5'10', 155, with a 39in chest and upper arms that are larger than traditional cyclists. I got the Medium. It's snug in the chest, barely enough room for a base layer, but it stretches nicely and the arms and shoulders are perfect, not too tight. The fabric is super comfy. My only complaint is that the bottom zipper fitting is small, not easy to use with gloved fingers. I predict the zipper will be the first thing that will wear out, but hopefully not very soon!
