Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought this kayak rack to throw on my Honda CRV for my Hurricane Sojourn Kayak. This is a 14 foot kayak. The racks were so easy to install and as important, uninstall. Super easy to secure the kayaks to the rack, came with hooks and ropes to secure the front and back of the kayak to the tow hooks on my car. Drove over 200 miles and not once did the kayak move it feel like it wasn’t secured. Was easy to unload the kayak off the rack. Would highly recommend

I was looking at the Rio Directcore Bonefish line but decided to give this a shot. I have not had a chance to use as of yet but have put it on a spool. I stretched it as I put it on and feel that is very low stretch and I have casted on the lawn and in the wind (8wt) and feel it should handle large flies in windy conditions.

Was super excited to get this delivered. Is great for organizing my fly rods and reels in one place. There is even room for shirt, shorts, wading socks, and other accessories to be ready at any time to head for the river or lake. Holds 4 four pieces rod tubes and my changing mat and most everything I need. Will be great for my next flight as well. Definitely a must have for any angler.

I was looking for a replacement for my current wet wading boots and saw these and gave them a try. Fit is true to size (Men’s 11) and they are very comfortable. Have worn them on 3 day trips so far and they have performed very well. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed a way to wade more safely in big water such as the Henry’s Fork in Idaho and other large rivers. I received this and have used it several times and it fits the bill. Helps with tricky wading and stream crossings. Folds up compactly and paired with the Simms Retractor is always easily at hand. Great get.

Excited to get these shorts for wet wading and golf. Have worn several times and like the fit. Would probably go up one size for extra comfort but still fits well enough to keep. I would like to see 4way stretch fabric in this style like other Simms offerings. Overall would recommend.

Fit- Runs slightly small still fits but might go up one size if your wavering.
Great shorts. Used for hiking and fishing so far. Quick dry. Only want would be for the fabric to be 4 way stretch. Still would recommend.

Great backpack

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I drew permits to hike Half Dome in October. I needed a good day bag that will carry enough water and supplies for the 17 mile trek, but light enough not to weigh me down as the miles and elevation piles on. I've taken this bag on several hikes, carrying a 2L bladder, several snacks and supplies, and my drone. Great fit, tons of useful pockets that make things accessible and easy to get. It's proven to be a great product so far, and I love the message and vision Cotopaxi stands behind.

This is my third pair of Simms wading boots over the last 23 years and expect it will be many years before my next. As with all Simms products these appear to be made to last. I have had them out for 15 days over the last month. Very comfortable and true to size. They should easily accommodate heavier socks as it moves into late season and winter fishing. It pays to spend more for quality boots.

Having been a “Simms guy” for a long time it takes something unusual to catch my attention or get me to move from what I know and trust. The Patagonia Rio Gallegos Waders are such a product. The fit was great especially for larger taller anglers and the attention to detail including a built in dry pocket for your phone or other electronics. We will see how the wear over the next several years but I am expecting great things.

I have owned Lamson reels at all price points and this reel offers a lot of bang for the buck. The drag system is smooth and I have already handled fish up to 12lbs with no issues. To add to that Lamson made it better by putting it into a 3pack of spools and you are set as beginner to get started or a veteran needing another set up for your next adventure.

Review for my Backpack

What an awesome day pack! You can never go wrong with Osprey! It’s light weight. I was able to carry 3L of water along with a jacket, food and several personal items and didn’t feel a thing while hiking. It carried my trekking poles just fine. It was easy to access my small items in the hip pockets. Overall a great day pack!

I love these Chacos! I was Tev girl for years and was wary of Chacos because they just looked uncomfortable. Surprisingly, they are actually comfy! It took me a little bit to adjust, but after that I love wearing them everywhere. I can’t wait to take these on my next backpacking trip!

When I first picked up the pack I couldn’t believe how light it was. I wasn’t sure it could handle carrying much weight due to its light frame. I was wrong! The pack surprisingly opens up to fit quite a bit more then it seems. The pack is quit versatile with the ability to open up and stretch to accommodate a larger load then sinch down tight for a lighter load. It’s the most comfortable back I’ve owned even compared to other osprey packs I’ve had. It sits close and tight to the body making it very comfortable to hike in. It also has very easy access pockets that makes getting things in and out of it convenient and simple

These are perfect starter boots. I chose to break these in visiting Sequoia National Park and hiked to see General Sherman and other giant trees around the park. The paths were snowy and wet. These boots kept my feet dry and were easy to navigate through snow. They were comfy and light. I would recommend to get a 1/2 size bigger for room to hike down hills so your toes have room to move in the toe box. They gave me sufficient ankle support for this hike as well. I can’t wait to use them for my future hikes!
