Familiarity: I've used it several times

The pad it self, awesome. Slept super comfy for a few nights on the Oregon coast. However, I would highly suggest inflating it sober for the first time. After knocking back a (few) cold ones with the boys, I had the hardest time figuring out how to inflate it for the first time. I ended up with a modified sucker-fish playing a tuba technique, while lying on my back with the pad on top of me. It took me a while, but I figured out I was on the wrong side and I got it inflated and slept great!

Soft, durable, and guaranteed to help you get a date*

*while we can increase the probability you'll be noticed by that cute girl and the climbing gym, we cannot actually guarantee that she will say yes when you ask her out. However, if you stand in some camp fire smoke and spill a little PBR on you before the gym, you'll be nearly irresistible. Make sure to have facial stubble, hat hair, and tell her you're Vegan. Is that wedding bells I hear?*

These babies aren't even available to everyone yet. These here are the Horizon STR, and its one of the perks of working with Under Armour. Just want to give y'all a sneak peak before we get them. Zero break in period, light weight, and wicked grippy. Highly recommended.

I have small hands already, but this fit more like a childs glove. Granted, this is not the same glove as shown above, I'm hoping the sizing issue is not across the brand.

With that said, its the best performing glove I've ever had. incredible grip and I don't even notice them when I'm riding.

Dat flair tho...

I love the red accent, fits me perfectly. They're a little heavier than I expected, but a couple ounces isn't that big of a deal. They're certainly sturdy, and they look the same scuffed up as they do new.

Would recommend.

Took a few days to break in, but they're comfy enough. I like the durability of the canvas material. I can really ride hard without worrying about my feet, which is pretty much the idea.

These glasses are amazing, I can't believe how crisp and clean the lenses are. Its like watching life in High Def all the time. The only downside, is that I gotta tiny head. Therefore, they don't grip my face too well. I was hoping to use them for mountain biking, but they'd slip of my face. Therefore, they're my new driving glasses. Still happy.

Yoga Planking

Yes, its a thing. Well, at least it ought to me, cause plank is still my favorite yoga pose ;). I was instantly impressed with the grip. My last mat I would slide all over the place, so I was pleasantly surprised by the grippy texture. In addition to the eco-friendly factor, prana has once again exceeded my expectations.

Hit me up directly for questions on this mat, any other gear on the site, or if you still need a personal gearhead!

Namaste... at home today...

Trust me, I'm a professional. Whereas this jacket won't make you climb better, hike faster, or help make it to work on time, it will make you look so damn good that it won't matter that you fell on that 5.8, you only hiked half way up Reiner, or waltzed in to work an hour later.

This has become my everyday jacket and I love it. On par with quality with Arc'teryx, and a fraction of the price? Count me in.

Remember, its (Me-yay). Hit me up directly with questions on this jacket, or if you have other questions, or if you still need a personal gearhead!

Bought this jacket for my brother for Christmas, and he loves it. The fabric is much thinner that I expected, so its very lightweight. Now if I could only get him to buy some new skis from me...

Prana came into backcountry today and did a clinic with a few of us gearheads. I already love my stretch zion pants, and here's a couple more reasons to buy prana. The clothing industry is one of the biggest polluters in the world, and prana is doing something about it by making absolute sure that from seed to shirt, their practices are truly organic and sustainable. Since they stopped using plastic bags to shirt their clothing (its rolled and wrapped in twine), prana has NOT used 10 million bags. That's the weight of 25 blue whales in plastic, that's not been added to the degradation of our only planet.

You're probably wearing something cotton on you right now, do you know where it came from? Did getting that product to you help the earth or hurt it?

For additional questions on prana, questions on gear, or if you don't yet have a personal gearhead, hit me up!

Perfect for gear, not perfect for sister
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Got my new pack this weekend and my sister helped me break it in. As it turns out, she's a little more that 75 Liters, so she didn't fit well. I love the versatility of this bag, super adjustable so you can get this bag as a young boy scout, and use it well into adulthood when you're 100lbs bigger and taller (hopefully not wider). I can't wait to get some serious miles out of this bag.

If you have questions about this bag, or any other backpacking questions, or if you don't yet have a personal gearhead, contact me!

I absolutely love these shoes. I bought them initially just for running, but they're so comfortable I wear them almost daily. Just finished a trail run in this pic. Breathable, comfortable, durable, stylish. I've had more compliments on these shoes, than any pair of shoes I've ever owned. I love the speed lace. I'll probably hold an actually funeral when they finally wear out.

Hit me up with questions on these shoes, on any other gear, or if you still don't have a personal gearhead.

Took them down to southern Utah for a canyoneering trip. Completely reliable for grip while bombing down the canyon. They're a standard fit, and my feet are narrow so I had to tighten them down quite a bit to keep my feed snug. Just look at the picute, beautiful. Columbia should probably pay me for that one ;).

Perfect size for long day hikes
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My only complaint is that it was getting scuffed up on the sandstone when I was canyoneering in southern Utah. Then again, its my own fault, cause it wasn't designed for stemming. VERY comfortable and breathable. Side access would have been nice, so I didn't have to unload my whole pack to get to my beef jerky.
