Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 155 lbs
Size Purchased: 12.5

I am a climbing instructor and spend a lot of time training, coaching and setting up. This is the best shoe I have found that gives me the traction I need for scrambling and the edges I need for instruction. Great shoe to give me the best of both worlds without having to change into climbing shoes for easy climbs or short demos. They also have a good style and don't look odd if I am wearing them away from the rocks.
I normally wear a 12 with a little room to spare. I ordered a 12.5 and very happy that I did so.

I am a trad climber who spends most of my time setting up top rope climbs for Scouts and my kids. This is a great rope at a good cost. The rope bag is a fantastic bonus making this even a better value. The rope feels great in the hand both in feel and in diameter.

Finally found it!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I had a great, albeit inexpensive, Dorfmann Pacific hat for years. It was heavy cotton, acted like a swamp cooler when wet, and kept my bald head from scorching. It was lost.
Saw this hat on Backcountry and picked it up. Very glad I did. It is a great cotton blend, light and very breathable. It is all that I liked about my old standby with massive improvements. Bring it Mr. Sun. I'm covered.

Sizing: I am slightly smaller than 7 5/8 and the XL is great. The draw string around the crown allows for great fitting. I guess if you err, size up and you will be fine.

Bought this on a cool day in Santa Barbara. Just the right weight for a 50-60 degree day or as a base layer. Zip to vent or stay warm around the neck. Not restrictive at all. A cool breeze goes right through it, but that is the intention. I have done some nice fast hiking in it also and it breathes nicely.

The Perfect Hammock?
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Remember getting into your Dad's hammock and flipping over? That won't happen with this one. It's design keeps you safe and centered. I can't find anything wrong with this hammock. I have not had the guts to take it on a backpacking or camping trip as my main shelter, but I can see why people do. My 40 something year old body may not do well in a sling for overnight.

Backyard, hikes, or day by the lake it usually goes with us. Sometimes four of us enjoy it together.

I did not know I like hammocks until my family purchased the ENO Double for father's day. I laid in it for a bit and thought I could learn to like it. My wife came down and woke me up a bit later.

Bought this jacket for my son who rides his bike to and from school every day. Even though we are spoiled with great weather in Pasadena, mornings are chilly. This is a great jacket for cutting the wind and dampness. On cooler days he throws it over a fleece. The added bonus is the color which makes him very visible on overcast mornings. The most important part is that he loves to wear it.
