Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 250 lbs
Size Purchased: XL

I've wanted something nicer than a fleece when going out around town on a weekend. This is the perfect medium between a nice shirt and a fleece jacket. Perfect for crisp fall weather for a daily jacket. not very compactable, but still a perfect layer for keeping you warm when you would normally wear a fleece.

3 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these before I started bike riding in the winter, and now that I ride in the cold winter of Berlin, they aren't really ideal. The seam where the thumb material attaches causes pain when gripping my handlebars. Also with the increased wind from riding they aren't terribly insulatory.
These are best used as every day gloves in near freezing temps.

Size Purchased: Large

I purchased a size-L on the statements by others that this runs large in terms of fitting, and I must disagree with their assertions. Maybe because I'm 6'3" and 260lbs, but this fits pretty snug. Or I should say, "correct". I would like maybe a little more room at the waist, but I guess I could lay off the beer. It zips closed fine, just snug.

Zipper is weird and doesn't latch(start) easily, but it works well. Also the pockets are in a weird place, at the arm pit almost, but I understand it makes sense if using as a belay jacket.

It also seems to be some what water resistant, but can't verify.

Great bag, but SMALL.
5 5

This should just be considered a day/weekender pack. Great bag, well made, and lots of nice features. My only complaint is that it's a rather small bag. Both in volume and size. I am 6'3" and this looks like a child's bag on my back. But that shouldn't be a negative, it's just a day pack remember.
If you want something more outdoorsy look for a model with an included hip strap/water bladder pouch or a bit more space.
However if you just need something for daily commuting or a weekend trip some where this is perfect.
