If you ever like to wonder far off the path or like to do dangerous things with your friends then this is for you. It's not a bad idea to carry this around when you are in a secluded area, it could be the difference between life and death. I like to do dangerous adventurous stuff in the mountains with my friends and I picked one of these up because it could save one of us if we were bleeding out waiting for a helicopter. It doesn't take up too much space in my pack and doesn't weigh much either so it's really a no brainer for me. Haven't needed to use it which is a great thing.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got these trekking poles for a friend of mine that is recovering from a spinal injury. He didn't want to look like an old man with a walker so I got him these trekking poles. The big thing I have noticed is that these can really withstand some weight. Normally when you are using trekking poles they are just assisting you during your hike and holding a fraction of your weight. In this case my friend was putting almost all his weight on these trekking poles and they held up very well. He can't say enough good things about them.

Buying nice tents can be expensive. The lighter your tent is the more expensive it is generally. The worst thing that can happen is you go out on your first trip with your new shiny tent and the campsite is not great. Lots of sharp items around that wants to poke holes in your new expensive toy. A good footprint is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to help prevent sadness. This footprint is built very well can connects to the whole system easily. ALWAYS BUY A FOOTPRINT FOR YOUR TENT!

This Leash is awesome for everyday dog walking as well as hiking or running. I love how there is a huge stretchy section in the leash. This lets your dog know when they are getting close to the end of the leash and it will slightly start pulling them back instead of your dog pulling you. The other great option is the adjustable connection. You can use the leash like a normal leash by holding it in your hand or around your wrist, or when you are running and hiking you can make the end larger and wrap it around your waist freeing up your hands for trekking poles or balance. The perfect leash for the trekking doggo.

Yeti always knocks it out of the park so there isn't much to say. The Yeti Rambler is an awesome choice to keep your drink cold all day long. It will keep ice for hours so your drink is cold from the first sip to the last. Also they designed the 30oz mug to fit in your standard cup holder in your car which is a huge plus.

This review won't quite live up to Lisa's Amazeballs review below but I wanted to say that everything she says is spot on. Such a rad pack.
This is a great pack for the aspiring businessman with a rugged look. I love that it has a velcro strap to hold my laptop its sleeve so its not bouncing around too much. The look of this bag is awesome. It's different then everything else you see out there and has this look that makes people look your way. It puts off a rugged but professional image. I would recommend this pack to anyone that is on the move a lot that needs to carry a laptop as well as have space for everything you need day to day.

If you are looking for a rad helmet that is very visible, look no further. I don't bike but I got this helmet for a lightweight option to use while Speedflying and Paragliding. The first thing I noticed was how reflective it is. The whole center piece as well as some accents on the back and straps are all reflective. So this helmet would be awesome if you want to be seen in traffic.

Next thing I realized was how great of a fit it was. With Bell's Float Fit Adjustment system you can get a perfect secure fit that almost molds to your head. You can crank it down enough that the helmet doesn't move at all and still feels great.

Last tidbits, the buckle is a very easy to use system similar to like a snowboard bindings ladder system. The visor is removable as well if you don't like it. With MIPS being in so many different helmets and styles now it would be silly to buy a helmet without it. MIPS has come down in a price a ton so may as well spend a couple extra dollars for the extra protection. This thing also has tons of adjustable ventilation for when you need to dump a bunch of heat. To tie the whole package together the helmet is very lightweight which for me is great since I am usually hiking up some hills with it strapped on my back.

I used to carry just a knife and then lost it so I decided to go for a multi tool. The Skeletool CX is a great tool with just the right amount of tools.

The knife comes out of the box very sharp which is always a plus. The difference between the Skeletool and the Skeletool CX is the CX is a bit lighter, however the CX has a straight blade where the original has a straight blade with a serrated section which I prefer.

These are the perfect jeans. These are a slimmer fit jean so they are still stylish however people won't ask you if you're wearing your girlfriends jeans.

The Cargo Green is my favorite color. The Denim color is very dark, almost a black denim. The black is great for semi-formal occasions where you need to look a bit nicer but still want to wear jeans.

I originally bought one a few years back and it is still going strong. It keeps beverages cold for hours, even days. There was this one time I was in southern utah on a backpacking trip. I filled the Growler with a bunch of ice and water when I left my house in Salt Lake. I left the growler in my car for 2 days and came back to a growler with Ice cold water in it. It was a wonderful treat at the end of a hot trip.

Bought another for a present and they love it!

This thing is awesome. It will keep your beer/soda cold from the first drink to the last even if it takes you hours to finish one beer. It is a pricey sucker so don't let your friends walk off with it.

I bought one for myself and a bunch more for gifts. Everyone loves theirs.

Best climbing shoes for everything!! Seriously these things are super versatile with a slight downturn but still forgiving enough to smear on slabs too. They DO STRETCH. Plan for roughly a half size of stretch- so I think half a size down from your street shoe will be perfect. They will feel tight and a little uncomfortable at first but after about 10 pitches or so you will start to have them broken in. I've climbed about 100 pitches in mine and I sized down 1/2 size from my street shoe. At first they were uncomfortably tight. From pitches 10 to about 80 they felt perfect, and now honestly they seem like they might be a tad bit big. It seems like they have stretched even a bit more than I was expecting. Not sure if I would go down another half size but it could be possible...

Best shoes out there though- seriously you will love them!!!!

Gear loft is a perfect fit. It stays nice and high and out of the way. Pockets seem big enough to hold a lot of extras, and weighs nothing and doesn't add much to the pack size. I have never owned a gear loft before so I am excited to not search for all my little items under the explosion that used to be my bag. There are also 2 pockets that are light diffusers, you can stick a headlamp in these pockets and it will spread out the light to fill up the whole tent.

Fit: True to size
Size Purchased: 8.5

These things are awesome. Sizing is spot on. These fit very similar to the Classic vans. Vans took their classic waffle grip sole and reversed it to give you more traction in the snow and on the ice. I recently did a 2 hour hike on them and my feet stayed dry the entire time. I cannot be any happier with these boots. The colors are awesome too. I got the Black/Rosin color and they are like a military green with black and I get compliments on them everyday.

These boots are very comfortable. I got the liner custom molded and these things felt great right out of the box. I got these for touring and all around boot and initially they seem awesome.

I would size up half a size. I wear an 8.5 in street shoe and the 9's in these boots are snug.
