Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Great suit. Very flattering fit.
Great suit. Very flattering fit.
I bought these for my wife and returned them because she didn't like the fit. Perhaps others would like it. On her they were wide on the legs...baggyish and didn't quite cover her butt cheeks. She took them off immediately. She opted for the prana ones.
Hardly know it's on. No headache and no shifting. Stays put even during heavy workouts. Easy to wash. Get compliments everytime I wear it. GREAT BUY!
Amazing biking food, easy to eat, lots of energy, doesn't give you that sickly sweet overload, and unlike a cliff bar won't leave you with gut pains when you are bent of on a bike all day. Trouble is they are tasty enough you eat them when you aren't riding.
The soles on this shoe are burly vibram numbers, but because of the way they curve they don't feel bulky when you run in them. The lack of flex in the sole works out because of the shape. Ventilate well too. Would recommend for anyone who needs a tough hiker for backpacking but usually opt for trail runners because they hate the way hiking boots feel.
The fabric is thin, and it runs large. I normally wear a medium but can fit in a small with this hoodie. The arms are long so going down a size doesn't cause troubles.
I bought the pant version of these capri's, and my wife loved those so much that it led us to buying these. She loves these just as much if not more. She hasn't worn them very much because we bought them in the Winter and are just headed into Spring, but the fit is great. The fabric is comfortable.
Everyone says these run small, but in my wifes case, that was a good thing. My wife loves these pants. She is short (5 foot) and has a hard time finding pants that she isn't stepping on or bunching up around the ankle. They are a nice fabric. She doesn't dry them, but washes them regularly and wears them often. She loves the fit and loves that they are loose around the ankle.
Sharp little knife and really light. Handle suits people with larger hands better, I've had comfort complaints from people with small hands. Be careful the dishwasher will give the stainless steel rust spots.
If you have broader shoulders, this shirt is a little tight under the arms. Wish the cut was a little wider and the top and thinner at the bottom, but the fabric is amazing. It is water repellent and dries quick when it does get wet. Additionally the fabric stretches slightly for comfort while still keeping a recently pressed look.
The shoes seem very well built with lots of nifty things going on under your foot as the bullet points state. Almost feels like too many gadgets. The soles of these shoes don't bend very much (maybe after a lot of wear they'll loosen up), and they have funny little heel gel insert that you turn to adjust between softer and stiffer. Maybe a better shoe for standing around then moving. Will have to comment again after some real miles, but initial impression is if nothing else you could get you kids on rides at Disneyland they aren't tall enough for because of all the stuff in the foot-bed.
Not sure exactly what is different about inov-8's shoes, don't really read the marketing stuff but there is a real difference. My knees and back normally give me trouble if I spend all day on my feet. In inov-8s I end up with no aches in the knees and back. They aren't a padded shoe so it's not like they are just softer then other shoes. Other minimalist shoes tend to leave my back, knees, and feet hurting. I'm thinking inov-8 has a podiatrist helping design their stuff but don't know if that's true. Just know I love these and all inov-8 shoes. Word of warning when you first try on inov-8 shoes they feel akward. Give them a chance and spend a couple days running around before you give up on them.
Perfect shoes for outdoors work. They look normal enough to wear indoors, but are much warmer than standard hiking boots and hold up well to the slush. A little stiff, but you'd expect that from a boot with this much rubber on the upper.
The wind moves through these like there's nothing there. So great for warm hiking. The fabric holds up well and stretches a little. The stretch and cut lends itself well to bouldering or anything like that. Gotta be the most comfortable pants around. If you run warm all the time, these will keep you from sweating all day.
I really like this rack just bummed that I can't add another 2 bikes. Lame they only sell one for the NV.
The applicator is pretty lousy, it takes forever to go over a pair of adult boots. The end result is great, but would be nice if it was easier to get the product on the shoes.
The feels really nice with all the wool inside, but ours showed up with pieces of plastic sewed into the front of the boot. Tried to pull them out with some pliers, but it would have torn the stitching on the inside of the toe box. Sad they had to be returned.
If you have a large head and even larger mop, this might work for you. Not real warm, maybe a good fall hat.
Use this to keep the little ones happy on ski days. Worry free and keeps the coco warm for hours while we are out skiing. Haven't used this big one in the summer, but imagine its works even better at keeping stuff cold than the smaller one I own (the little one keeps drinks cold for 6 hours +).
