Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 164 lbs
Size Purchased: 34"

To start off with, I like the material and the overall fit in the hips even though I have a 33" waist and had to get 34's. I do believe these are a bit large for 34" though because I have other 34" clothes and they fit much closer. It would be nice if they were another inch longer too.

So I've only used it a little because I was only boiling water for freeze dried meals lately and a small cup is good for that. But, this would be about the right size for enough water for a meal and cup of tea/coffee. I like how the handle locks over the lid, the lid holder locks upright, and the lid is also contoured to fit and stay on this pot and also a smaller one like a snowpeak Titanium cup. An 8 oz fuel canister will fit inside it too.

I've only used it on one 3 day backpack trip so far. It's light enough and pumps faster than I thought it would, plus, with a little modification to one of the quick-disconnect fittings, it plugs right into my Camelback so I can fill it without removing it from my pack. The bottle adapter works well with my Nalgene also. Overall, I think this was a good choice.

I got the large to put over my Mystery Ranch 6500 when I have all kinds of things tied to it. The cover worked great and the straps were very useful for pulling the cover around everything and taking up any extra slack. Durability didn't seem to be an issue either. I liked how it is heavier on the bottom for better durability. As for price, I thought it was reasonable, especially considering the price of Arcteryx clothing.

I suppose for what it is, it's not bad. I had problems with under or over inflating it and either being against the ground at some spots or feeling like I was laying on a board. But I never did get cold though, and it held up well considering some of the ground conditions it was exposed to. The self inflating feature was nice also, one less thing to deal with after a day of packing. I am 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs. I went with the large because I was using it in colder temps- high 20's low 30's- and I figured the large would be the way to go so I don't roll onto the cold ground at night. I have a regular size pro lite and never had a problem with comfort or having it inflated just right. So for this reason, maybe I should have gone with the regular size for the Plus also. Or maybe I'm just getting old and soft.
