Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I bought this jacket for fishing in Alaska last year and love it. Used it for 4 months fishing in some down pours and early snow during trout fishing on the Kenai. Jacket worked perfectly. Used it on a couple hunt trips to Prince of Wales too and still performed as advertised. Definitely a great jacket for the money if you can get it on sale. I would buy it again.

Come on Patagonia - don't turn into a rich man's only store. $329 for a soft case to carry your skis around is ridiculous. If you can't develop one for under $120 then don't get into the market. I will stick with my Swix or Dakine bags - half the price and can get two pairs of skis with gear in each one. This would have to be 75% off before I would consider purchasing.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

After skiing in 9 year old boots, I talked my wife into finally trying on the new Salomon X-Pros. My wife is an excellent skier and has been on skis for over 45 years (started at the ripe age of 3). She can ski in just about any boot and make them work. At first when trying the X-Pros on, she was not a fan. Too tight and hot spots. With a little coaching from a very good boot fitter and a few strategically placed pads on the hot spots, we heated up the shells and liners. 10 minutes later - boom. She was in love. Boots fit like a glove and can't live without these boots. Highly recommend Salomon boots with the Heat moldable Custom Shells and Liners. You won't regret it.

Fit: Runs small

Just received this with my new Patagonia coat. Love the feel. Sizing might be a little tight for some people but right for me. 5'10, 164 lbs, 40 inch chest and 30 inch waist. The Medium fit me perfect. I would buy this top again.

Just received the jacket in the mail and actually ordered the small and medium based on several comments about the jacket being too big. I'm 5'10', 164 lbs, 40in chest, 30in waist and the Medium jacket fit me perfect. I was still able to put a R1 hoody or a nano air under the jacket and it didn't feel too tight. Sent the small back to Backcountry and they refunded my money right away. Sleeves are a tad long but I prefer that over too short. The jacket is very light so I will be interested how it performs skiing in Sapporo this winter.

Great experience and why I continue to use Backcountry for all my outdoor needs

Bought this bag a couple months ago and have taken on several bus trips. Bag is large enough for two sets of skis and poles. I travel with one pair of 176cms, 4 sets of poles, and a Shotz Ski that is 200cm long. All fit without any issues. Bag is a little heavy because of the wheels on the end so dragging it is the method of movement. Padding on the inside is around the binding area of the skis. Only thing I wish it had was a business card/name tag sleeve on the outside, then I would have given it 5 stars

I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs. Just bought the FX94s in 176cm with Kastle bindings and took them out on the slopes in Northern Japan. It took about 1/2 day to get use to the turn radius (i'm use to a very short turn radius) but after that I fell in love with these skis. I skied three straight days and they just kept getting better. Now all I want to do is get back on them. Carved really well on the groomed runs but really cut through the crud and powder with ease. $1200 is a lot for any ski so if you can wait to get them on sale then I would buy them quick. The best skis I have been on and I have been skiing for 40+ years. Highly recommend that if you demo them, do it for a couple days. These skis only get better the more you ski them. Cheers
