Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this for both biking and hiking when I need to carry stuff and water. Great for a quick ride where you don't need a lot of gear or for a ride that you don't need lots of extra water. Pack stays put even when loaded and doesn't bounce around like the bladder based waist pack I tried. It's been around the world and has held up great. Compared to other options, the value is fantastic.

These are fantastic grips that I can run with or without gloves, easy on the hands yet still provide plenty of grip. The lock on is only on the inside so it is easier on the hands if you like to hand a bit over the bards at times.
These grips provide most of the comfort from an ESI grip for me, without the lack of durability that ESI has. The Deity grips have done great with brushes against trees, rocks, and dirt.

This has really helped with tuning my fork and shock for different terrains quickly. The app has improved and provides a quick and easy interface and great stastics to geek out on like number of jumps, average time in the air, and longest jump.
Setting up a shock or fork does require carefully measuring the compression ratios. If you don't get that right, you'll end up with bad data. Keeping a log of that does help and comparing it to known valves is a good check if you are having issues.
This isn't a must have device if you are good with suspension setup, but it is a great device to help dial in something quickly or in a different terrain. I was going to take it off after setting it up, but I've keep it on the fork as the stats are fun.

I've used these with 2.6 inch tires and they have allowed running lower pressures, getting more traction, and preventing rim strikes. The ease of install is much better than the cushcore system, though cushcore does ride great as well.
Only complaint is that I've had issue with the valve getting blocked by the insert and have had to remove the valve core and press the insert out of the way. This happened both to myself and my buddy that has a set. A set of the cushcore valves would fix this.

Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 180 lbs
Size Purchased: 33x34

These are fantastic and I now have three pairs. They fit is true to size which is great for me as I'm a 33 inch waste and was tired of having jeans too big. All my other jeans have now gone to donation after I realized I never wore them!
My oldest pair is over a year old now and shows a little fading, but nothing bad for wear. I've used them for casual wear, work clothes, hiking, and rock climbing.

These grips have a great shape and held up very well. They are much harder than what I typically prefer though. If you are having issues with wrist pain or hand numbness, they are worth a try. I've run them for a season and they've been solid and survived plenty of crashes. Easy to install as well.
