Hope the rep who posted the "review" on this might see...Struggling between the L.U.X.E. NV and this Solstice. Any chance of this getting the NV treatment? Really love the idea of the lower weight. I've just joined the National Mountain Bike Patrol and will have to carry a lot more now than I normally do. But then this looks like its covering up even more of your back, which, looks like it will be really hot in the summer or during the long climbs :/

1) How's the breathability on these? Has anyone who generally has problems with goggles fogging used these with luck?

2) Are these goggles just more narrow or also smaller from forehead to nose? The look smaller in the picture but some of people's photos on face makes it look pretty big still. I'm looking for a goggle I can wear Fat Tire biking. The problem with my Oakley A-Frame and Giro Nine helmet is when I lean into the biking position, the back of the helmet pushes forward, which pushes the goggles down and smashes my nose! Otherwise I'm looking at either the Giro Field http://www.backcountry.com/giro-field-goggles-womens -or- Smith I/O S(mall) http://www.backcountry.com/smith-i-os-interchangeable-optic-goggle

Can anyone offer and help or measurements on the goggle from top/forehead to top of cut out for the nose?

THANKS!

The problem with my Oakley A-Frame and Giro Nine helmet is when I lean into the biking position, the back of the helmet pushes forward, which pushes the goggles down and smashes my nose! These have been rated for great breathability but I'm still worried about smashing my nose. Otherwise I'm looking at either the Giro Field http://www.backcountry.com/giro-field-goggles-womens -or- Smith Virtue http://www.backcountry.com/smith-virtue-goggle-womens?s=a

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I'm not a tiny cardio bunny, but in my years of cycling I've come to realize that Pearl Izumi really fits me best when I'm in my more...well...less fit stages of life. Pearl Izumi seems to have a more "north american" fit compared to the other companies out there. I LOVED this jacket; the materials, the pockets (OH THE POCKETS!), the fact it wasn't a black or red or girly pink or hi-viz colour. Alas, I've forced myself to return it for the similar jacket from Pearl Izumi: P.R.O. Softshell 180 Jacket. I don't like the color selection of the Pearl Izumi jacket but the fit is more realistic for me and somehow I got the P.R.O. version cheaper than the more colorful Elite 180. I would not hesitate to purchase this jacket for everyone else who is considering it!
