I really like the grid pattern on this jacket and have gotten a few compliments. Went with the medium, I am 5'7" - 170lbs. Nice athletic fit. A little big in the arms, length wise. Which has been hit and miss on some of Marmot Jackets. Perfect length if this jacket had thumb holes like some of there other jackets. Love the colors available, could see me picking up another one.

Christmas present to my wife who wants to snowshoe but also enter a race or two during the season. Super light, half the weight of my Atlas 11. She is very happy with them, very easy to run with. She is a size 8.5 running show, which has been used. Made me nervous at first that her feet would get cold, so purchased Huron Gaiters. Feet stayed warm and dry. So far they have held up very well, will update if we have any problems with binder as season goes on! Binding is very easy to adjust, strap on and remove.

Very warm for NOT being a bulky jacket. Originally purchased the M but was tight in the chest area, large fits perfect and is not long in the arms. I'm 5'8", 170lbs with a 42" chest. Have other jackets from Marmot in a medium, so i right in the middle of M and L. This jacket is worth every penny and is great for athletic people looking to stay warm while allowing movement for activities.

Great Athletic fit for active people looking to stay warm. Wore it yesterday in a 5k snowshoe with Marmot thermo fleece and was hot. Of course i was running, but it was 2 degrees out in Syracuse, NY. But is very comfortable 20-40 with little activity. I'm 5'8, 170lbs with 42" chest. Fits great and snug. Love the thump loops for extra wrist protection. If you have a belly, you might not like this jacket - it's snug everywhere. My wife was so impressed with this jacket, she just ordered one for herself.

Great shirt for base layer, athletic fit keeps warmth inside. I purchased the thermocline bottoms to match (gray/yellow). I wear as long underwear but fashionable for fleece during happy hour. Great for cold weather sports for movement, used for running and skiing. This fleece with Marmot Variant jacket is money, very warm and fabric stretches for high activity.

Bought for wife as gift for Atlas Running Snow shoes. Work well with sneakers to provide protection for the winter elements. She did a 5k yesterday in hilly terrain. Temp was 2 degrees ( upstate NY) and she said they kept feet warm and dry. She uses a size 8.5 running shoe, bought Large (only available) medium would fit better.
