I should have listened to the other reviews. My head measures 57 cm - dead in the middle of the Medium. I also have owned a Smith Helmet (Variant Brim) that was a Medium and fit perfect. So I ordered a Medium and it is way too tight. Pretty bummed because I loved the helmet otherwise, it was noticeability lighter and had a much smaller profile. And now Backcountry is sold out of Larges in the color I wanted. Really wish Smith was more accurate with their sizing.

Love this bag. I had previously used a duffle for travel which was slightly annoying given that everything was just piled on top of each other. This bag has so many pockets and compartments that it makes organization a breeze. I like to carry-on my ski boots and this bag carries them and my ski outfit with ease. When not used for ski travel, it's the perfect weekend bag.
Cons: It has no structure so it is floppy if it's not full. It could really use compression straps to help with that. It also has a pocket on the side for a luggage tag, which is worthless. I would rather that be a water bottle pocket. Neither one of those things is worth subtracting a star for though.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This light has a lot of features but the controls are not intuitive. There's various taps and lengths of holds to cycle through settings. I made the mistake of not taking the instructions the first time I brought it out - it was a little frustrating attempting to figure it out. I also see the green egg/yellow center other reviews mention while indoors and it's pretty distracting. Overall, a decent light at the price point, but if I were buying again, I would pay a little extra and upgrade to something else.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Update two seasons in: my gloves have packed in and are significantly colder. My hands were cold yesterday skiing at 28 degs. After a season and a half I’m looking for new gloves. These gloves are probably my most regrettable ski purchase.
Original Review: I bought these gloves after randomly trying them on while waiting in line at a shop and reading glowing reviews online. They're super soft inside and offer incredible dexterity. However, after using them for a season, I realized you're trading protection for that comfort and dexterity - which isn't really a fair trade when talking about ski gloves . They aren't too warm and aren't that waterproof. Anything under 10 deg and I'm wearing another pair. I've treated him with Hestra's balm and snoseal, and they'll still wet out if it's dumping or misty. You can't remove the liner or put them in the dryer (leather), so they'll stay wet for the next day. They're awesome gloves if the conditions are relatively nice, but that isn't always the case when skiing. Making these very expensive niche gloves. I found find myself wearing my old pair of gloves that cost 1/3 the price more often as they were much warmer and waterproof.
