Glad I snagged this before stock ran out! In the event that Backcountry gets more, I'd definitely recommend this wallet. There are only two card slots here, but they're pretty deep - I've stuffed a 3-4 cards apiece in there and it can easily accommodate it (there is also one longer pocket, ostensibly for ID's or important business cards).

The leather is definitely made to wear. A week out and it's already begun to crack and to change colors a bit, here and there. I personally love the effect - but real leather should be avoided if it's not an aesthetic you enjoy.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 220 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

First, I'll say that - in this instance, anyway - Fjallraven's sizing is dead on. I know that their parkas are often large enough to camp in, but this jacket is a dead-ringer for the way (in my experience) a Large coat should fit.

Bit of a boxy cut and it is pretty heavy - think "well broken-in Carhartt jacket" and you're close. The double zipper is sort of a turn-off that I hadn't realized would be utilized here, but it's not as much of a headache as it has been for me with other jackets.

The G-1000 fabric seems indestructible but this is definitely made at the sacrifice of weight. This coat is heavy but I got the sense that it will definitely take a beating.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking. Stoked to put it through the wringer this coming winter.
