Nice basic dog collar, and the color scheme looks great on my black dog (I went with the Aspen scheme). I especially like that the clip for her leash is separate from the hanger for her tags. The fabric is pretty nice, but a bit thinner than some of the collars I've had for her in the past.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used Assos chamois cream for years, and having tried a number of creams it's been the gold standard in my book. However, they've changed the formula a few times over the last several years and I didn't love the last iteration as much as previous ones so I figured I'd try something else and gave this a shot. I love it - great consistency, makes my shorts nice and comfy, and I prefer the tube it comes in to the tub the Assos cream is in.

I generally love Hammer products - they work great, are easy on the stomach, etc, so I was pretty psyched to try their vegan protein powder as I've been looking for one that's non-dairy based. The vanilla flavor is not bad, but it's pretty gritty in its consistency. I'm sure it's great nutritionally, but I was hoping for something a bit more palatable.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've been on SPDs since they first came out in 1991 or thereabouts, with a brief ill fated stint on the funky mid 90s Time Atac pedals, and have always loved them. Simple, reliable, easy in and out, but I'd heard good things about the Candy pedals and have wanted to try a pair for some time. Couple that with me wanting to move from an XC type pedal to one a bit more trail oriented, and I thought I'd give these a whirl , dipping my toes in with the Candy 1 since they're at a great price point.

I've done a couple of rides and generally speaking I really like these. The float feels better than on SPDs, I really like the disengagement, and they feel really secure when I'm clipped in. I'm not giving them 5 stars as I've had a few times where I had hard time getting clipped in - I'm sure most of this is just a learning curve after 25 years on SPDs, but the odd thing is I can't figure out why sometimes I get right in and others I have trouble. Nonetheless I'm not planning on switching back to my Shimanos any time soon.

Would you even consider running tubeless without sealant? No way! This stuff is just plain amazing. I've literally never flatted while using it. Punctured? Yep, lots of times, but never a puncture that didn't seal without me even slowing down a bit.

Fit: True to size

Needed some replacement rainboots for my 4 year old who had outgrown his beloved "fireman" rainboots. You can imagine how hard it is to find a replacement for boots like that! Well these actually did the trick - showed these to him and he immediately gave his old boots to his 2 year old brother. That's a win! He loves the way they look, but also that they have big hand holds he can use to pull them up himself. The odor treatment is also a big win for me - who knew feet that small could smell so much?

I was in the market for a sandal for a vacation, and tried a pair of these along with the standard Uneek. The standard ones are more "forgiving" in their fit, these feel more secure, so depending on your use case you may prefer one over the other. Ultimately I went with the standard ones as I wanted just a comfy all day sandal for vacationing, but if you wanted to do some light hiking and such I'd likely go with the 8mm variant.

Got these for a vacation to Disney with my family where I knew I'd be on my feet all day, and wanted something cool for the warm (and humid!) Florida days. Without even breaking them in I was able to wear them all day and had comfortable feet, and no issues wearing them day after day.

The look is actually pretty cool overall, but the one odd piece is how the heel looks - this overall has the look of an open shoe at that front, but more like a sandal with the heel strap the way it is.

Got these for my wife after we moved up to the mountains since she needed something with more glare and brightness reduction than the fashion sunglasses she had, and didn't want to wear her Oakley sport sunglasses as her everyday pair. Her first impression was to notice how much the glare reduction was helped by the polarized lenses, and the tint is great for super sunny days, but not too much for slightly overcast ones.

Great fit for her face size, and they're very light for an aviator type sunglass. She also likes that the ear pieces are spring loaded, making them durable.

I, slightly overly ambitiously, got one of these for my son's first birthday. Yes, really. And no, he couldn't ride it. Fast forward a year and change...

He was big enough to ride this when he was closer to 2 1/2 to 3, but the caveat there was that I had to cut the seatpost down in order to get the saddle low enough at that point (the frame design limits how low the post can go). Now that he's 4 1/2 i've maxed out what is left of the seatpost, so I'll need to get a new one and the bike will continue to fit him for some time.

He loves it, and it's actually a pretty cool little bike. The problem now is his little brother wants to ride it, so looks like instead of getting a new seatpost I'll be getting a second one of these!

These are great - I much prefer energy chews to gels, but most of them are too sweet. That's not a problem with these. They're just sweet enough to be enticing on a hard ride, and the flavor is great.

I got these for my wife to use while she's exercising - she wanted a bluetooth headset so that she could control her music from her Apple watch while running. They work great for that, but the best feature is most likely their fit. She says they're super comfortable, but stay put, which is a tough combo to find.

I needed a hat to keep the sun off and wanted to find something comfy and good looking, and this hat fits the bill. The cord for the chin is nice as it has a bit of stretch to it, and the logo is super cool to be sure!

I just got this helmet and can't wait to put some miles on it - the fit is spectacular. I had heard the MIPS insert can make them run small, but I didn't find that to be the case.

My wife has had the hardest time finding a helmet that fit her head well, was comfortable, and worked well with her goggles. Everything she's used over the years has either not sat right on her head in terms of either sitting too high up, or having too much side to side play while being tight front to back. She put this helmet on and instantly it was obvious it was the right choice for her - it just sat right on her head. She says it's by far the most comfortable helmet she's ever worn.

She was psyched about the Mips technology, and it just looks cool.

One thing to know is that the Mips insert slightly changes the fit. I tried to put her helmet on and it was a bit too small, but the same size of this helmet without the Mips fit me just fine.

This is a tough fabric bag - no padding, but the fabric seems very durable with a strong zipper. I didn't need a bag I could fly my skis with, just something to protect them when they're in my rocket box, and it does a great job for that. The bag easily fits my 187cm long Alpine skis with poles. It will actually hold my 192cm long Nordic skis with poles with room for a second set of Nordic skis and poles.

Pretty straight forward - this does a nice job of getting my boots and gloves dry after a day of skiing, and the timer is a great feature. I can set this up and not have to worry about remembering to turn it off, especially if I want to go somewhere while its running.

The fan's not completely silent, but certainly not obtrusively loud by any means.

Fit: Runs small

They keep your feet nice and warm, and unlike a lot of slippers I've worn, your feet don't get too sweaty. The only thing to know is that they're warm, but not so padded under foot after you've worn them a bit. No big deal on carpet, but more noticeable on hardwoods and tile floors.

I'd recommend going up a size from what you might normally expect as well.

I used SPD SL pedals for years and loved them, but when these came out I got a set to test them out and loved them. Much lower profile than the original Look pedals, easy in and out, which my wife really appreciates as she's had trouble with other pedal systems being too hard to engage and disengage.

And don't forget that you're drivetrain agnostic with these - Shimano, SRAM, Campy, doesn't matter your pedals don't clash, because you don't want to be the guy on the Campy bike with Shimano pedals!
