I must have worn about a dozen pairs of these over the years. During the summer I practically live in them. They are tough and can take a beating. Over the years Patagonia has improved the fabric for the pockets. In older versions my keys always destroyed the pockets first. Now they seem to last forever and after two/three years the entire pair of shorts pretty much falls apart to be given a decent burial.
Some folks claim they got smaller over time. I cannot confirm that. I've worn 34 waist for all my pants and shorts since high-school and while they are sometimes a bit tighter, sometimes a lit wider, that has nothing to do with the pants/shorts. :-) I'd say they fit like every other of my pants / shorts.

I bought the pants for a rainy and cold hiking trip to Scotland. It was rainy, cold and windy as expected. The pants held up great. Even when they were soaked they kept me warm while hiking. They dry reasonably fast and the stretchy fabric makes them comfortable. I was initially worried that they'd be too short, but a men's large worked well for someone used to 34in inseam.
Unfortunately the pants are not perfect. the pockets are ridiculously small. I lost my map twice and had to be really careful with my pocket knife and other stuff I usually keep in my pockets.

I've used the tent for a few years now and love it's small weight, size etc. The fabrics are thin and leightweight, which means you need to take care of it a little bit more than you would have to with heavier gear, but the tent has held up to careful use quite well. A little rip in the netting, but no busted zippers, unraveled seams etc. It's pretty well-made!
I like that the tent is long enough for me (6'3") to stretch out in, but I wished it was just a tad taller. I can't sit up in it. The tiny mesh pocket above your head is also rather minimalist. But then, it was the lightest tent on the market when I bought it, so sacrifices have to be made.
